One of the nicest campsites I've ever been to. Extremely remote, but the road leading up is easy to do even with a city car. The hike to Scoraig lighthouse from the campsite is one I'll never forget. The bothy serving as common room is great, nice to get some shelter to prep a meal and relax.

Absolutely stunning campsite - beautiful walk down to the loch which was just so clear and peaceful. Lovely little plots - just right for our campervan. Toilets and showers were clean and functional. Only downside was the midges - I would have loved to stay outside for longer but we had to retreat to the van. Highly recommended though.

Absolutely loved our stay! Despite the almost constant rain we had haha. Beautiful location with views out over the water where we saw some seals one night. Great facilities on site, and a fab shop and restaurant too! Will 100% be back 😃

Everything went well from start to finish great welcome to the site , lovely little hide away if staying for 1 or 2 nights even a week plenty to do and see around the area and excellent facilities to boot , and great scenery around the site defo be back

A lovely quiet laid back site with stunning views of the mountains with a short walk down to the loch which gives you fantastic views back across the loch in both directions. Facilities met all my demands, the showers were very good, a Bothy to hand as well if the weather or the midges get to bad. 🤪
Fire pits provided but bring your own wood.
I fully recommend a stop here if you are in the area.

St. Conan's Escape was lovely- the perfect place to stay during our venture to western Scotland. The accommodations were perfect, the view was excellent, and the host was very friendly and helpful. The pod was very clean and organized. The hosts came in and tidied up and left clean towels just like a hotel. They also gave us a tour when we got there and explained how the shower and door lock works instead of us having to use trial and error. The pod has plenty of storage space under the bed and all of the appliances work. Definitely will stay there again. The space is okay for two people, but probably not three.

When to go
The best time to visit Victoria Falls is during the cooler months from April to October, when the paths are less slippery and the weather is more conducive for hiking. Summer brings heavy rainfall, making the steep tracks more challenging and increasing the risk of fire bans, which can limit access.
Know before you go
- Check for current alerts and fire bans before planning your visit to ensure the walking tracks are open.
- Victoria Falls walking track is graded 4, indicating steep gradients and many steps; some bushwalking experience is recommended.
- There is limited mobile phone reception in the park, so plan accordingly and consider downloading the Emergency Plus app.
- No wheelchair access is available due to the natural terrain of the walking track.
- Remember to bring adequate water, sunscreen, and a hat, as the Australian sun can be intense, even in cooler months.
