We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and open air outdoor camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both the Hut and the Tent are furnished with beds and linen but have no power. Both share access to a Drop Loo and a compost toilet, with gas hot water shower (in our very rustic Horse Float ensuite). At all our sites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Reach out if you want us to have them defrosted for your arrival. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. In the next valley there's even gold to be found. Explore trails by mountain bike. Whale watch. Surf. Learn SCUBA. Go beach-combing. Catch a mudcrab. Go whitewater river rafting. You may also camp in the dam paddock (when available) if you have a 4WD however, you will need to be completely self sufficient with your own porta potty. Firewood is available to be purchased from reception. *DUE TO FIRE ANT OUTBREAK IN QLD AND NSW, BRING YOUR OWN (BYO) FIREWOOD IS NOT PERMITTED* Hand feed the farm animals or enjoy hours of bush walking or perhaps have a picnic by the dam overlooking the horses grazing or discover our Secret Garden! Suitable for large groups such as 4WDs, family gatherings, horse riders, weddings and school groups. Plenty of space and privacy. PLEASE NOTE: - CHECK IN CLOSES AT 8PM - Potable water is limited due to weather conditions (drought), and the farm being on tank water. Please fill your vans or tanks BEFORE you arrive. - We are a campground, NOT a 4WD park. 4WDs or motorbikes are NOT to be ridden on the property. Motorbikes need to be registered to ride in the State Forest. - Due to repeated incidents involving our poultry, dogs are no longer allowed. - Our moderate cancellation policy requires a cancellation of 72 hours ahead of check in time for a refund. Date modification requests within 24 hours of check in time will not be accepted. - No refunds will be issued for early departures after arrival.

Nestled along a picturesque 1-km stretch of the Bellinger River, our camping grounds offer level, grassy sites with open spaces perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. Just a short walk into town, you’ll find a charming milk bar serving fresh fish and chips only 700 meters down the road, or for the adventurous, swim across the river for breakfast or lunch at the iconic Old Butter Factory Cafe. Enjoy complimentary on-site kayaking, fishing right from your camp, and a chance to spot the elusive platypus! A new fence keeps the cows out, so you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Facilities include a pit toilet. We welcome pets and families, with free entry for children. Only one vehicle per booking is allowed, though we can easily accommodate group bookings on a single site—just email us to arrange. Caravan hire is also available for added convenience.

This 300-acre bamboo property gives you total tranquillity in nature. There are boats and boards to use, and an island kingdom for kids to play. Kiss and release fishing (Perch) in the awesome lake, which is also great for swimming, and building bamboo rafts. Adventures awaits! Basic, off-grid camp kitchen, big weatherproof wedding venue space to hire, posh dunnies (composting toilets), and a hot water shower shack with a magic view of the lake! There is plenty of shade and we're dog-friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome off-lead. Endless space, and plenty of privacy, campers can choose a spot when they get here. A bundle of firewood is provided on arrival, and you're welcome to bring more with you if you need. Price is per person per night, kids under 16 half price. Under 5 stay free so don't include them in booking numbers. Join us for cocktail hour at the brand-new Tiki bar! BYO drinks! We also have a brand-new sauna that campers are welcome to enjoy! All this, close to stunning beaches and cute cafes. Leave only footprints 👣 make awesome memories. NOTE: We currently only advertise availability three months in advance.
