Creekside Haven at the Farm

Picturesque setting in rural southwestern Pennsylvania. Misty mornings are almost a given in the summer and the limited light pollution in our valley makes for fantastic stargazing. Stretch and stargaze from your deck, or right from your bed with ceiling canvas tent views. 

Wade into the creek outside your tent door. Watch animals graze while cooking over an open fire and enjoy a walk in the forest on our 100 acre trails. 

Enjoy a cup of provided coffee or tea beside the babbling brook which can be waded in or fish stocked trout. A full size fold down couch and twin-size air mattress is provided in your canvas tent. 

Creekside Haven is a family owned farm located 25 minutes north of Morgantown, WV and 1.5 hours south of Pittsburgh, PA on a bucolic 100-acre working family farm. Part forest, part field, and miles to roam. 

Listen to sheep and goats calling and grazing peacefully. A unique and intimate back-to-nature experience surrounded by outstanding natural beauty.

Clark Shack Acres is a miniature horse farm in the Appalachian Ohio area. In the Muskinghum watershed near 5 State Park lakes Piedmont, Clendening, Salt Fork, Tappen and Seneca lakes. Also one mile from Egypt Valley Nature Public land. Close to fishing, boating, horseback riding, hunting, hiking. You can hike on trails at the camp site . We are a 40 acre family farm , not a camp ground .  But you can drive to all of our sites and  Pitch a tent near a pine forest and pond on a miniature horse farm . Private, but walking distance to the main house were water is available for washing and drinking. Many hiking trails on the land with a pond, stream, mediation circle. We have lots of wildlife. Located on a dirt road about 25 miles to nearest city. Fire ring and firewood is available. One tent or camper per site . Only 2 miles to Piedmont Lake where you can fish and go boating . They have a marina and restaurant. Only minutes from an Ohio wildlife reserve Egypt Valley great for hiking and hunting. Located in the Muskingum Water Shed with many lakes and streams including Salt Fork , Clenndening  , Piedmont, Seneca, Tappen Lakes . We have a lot you can park your boat when its not on the lake while camping .  We are located in a  Amish community , so watch for horse and buggys  on your drive to the farm.   primitive camping ~  is defined as being without neighbors, electricity, running water, bathroom facilities and, often times, cell service. You camp in a remote location and provide everything for yourself

3rd generation family owned micro farm located in rural harrison county.Learn more about this land:2 sites with electric, water, and septic just minutes from tappen, clendening and piedmont lakes. Fire rings for each site. Plenty of wildlife to just sit and watch.

We are homestead farmers and manage our land full time with certified organic vegetable gardens, CBD hemp crops, cattle, pigs, and poultry. Our farm consists of 188 acres of pristine, natural, rolling hills, woodland hollows and spring fed streams. 100+ acres of open hayfields and pastures and 80+ acres of diverse hardwood forest.Our homestead house and barns are over 150 years old with a few modern structures added to the barnyard. The historic Minksville Church is on the far end of the farm and was built by Holly's ancestors.
