The site perfectly located close to Hobbiton, Rotorua and Tauranga. We were tent camping. The host is great and trails provided to explore nature. We found that site may be more suitable for trailers and caravans because of proximity of the road.

Our second visit here and we love it - Tim has only improved the offering since last time. Now, there is a pair of amazing shiny toilets in the upper camp and through a gate, bridge & steps down to the river gorge, where you can see glowworms at night, or take a swim/dip in the day. Such an amazing camp, probably the best one ever for us. Thanks Tim!

We had a great camping stay at Lekker Stay, thanks Magda! The site is well located ons the intersection of two main roads within Whangarei Heads, close to the shops. The site had all the amenities we needed for camping comfortably. The hosts and their two dogs were very friendly! Recommend Magda’s place to anyone else and will be staying there again in the future.

I love that it was in a very secluded area with limestone Bluffs and a river flow through property. It was very tranquil. There was no one else around. I had very nice restroom facilities and also had freshwater on the property . If you want to relax, this is a place to go, plus it was absolutely beautiful.
