Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region.
There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm).
THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY.
The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site.
CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past).
Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property.
There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans.
All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps.
Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives).

There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds.
Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds.
The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos
Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm.

Moonbeams Yurt is situated at the bottom of a 1 acre property, on a large 48sqm decked area. The yurt is 20sqm in size and the composting toilet and shower are within 10 steps from the yurt entrance. The hot water shower is an outdoor shower with a privacy screen. There is NO power at all, but 1 battery powered light is available, and there is a basic gas cooker provided. There is no refrigeration.
Parking is at the top of the property and guests will have to walk down a partially sealed path to arrive at the entrance to the yurt, so good mobility is needed. You will need to bring in refrigeration/Eski, lights and basic cooking camp ware. A wheelbarrow can be provided to get gear from car to yurt.
A Double bed is provided. Optional extras are fresh bedding.
The pot belly stove is great for the winter, and timber is provided for cold nights. We do not recommend booking during our hottest months, unless you love the heat.
This property is great for backpackers or people wanting to see the sites of Perth and surrounds. The train line is close by for people who do not have a car. There are many walks and states forests in the area.
We have a two night minimum stay.

My stay at Maisie in the Valley at Bolinda Vale Farm was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully set up with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views around the property were stunning and made the experience even more relaxing.
Deb was an amazing host—warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. She made sure everything was perfect and her thoughtful touches really stood out.
I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend Maisie in the Valley to anyone looking for a quiet, refreshing getaway. I’d definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

Absolutely loved our stay at Maisie - very cosy, wholesome & lovely for a relaxing weekend! Sound of the water & nature was very peaceful. Felt like glamping which was nice! Secluded from other campsites & view (unless walking past). Would come back and recommend! Oh & farm store for eggs is a must - wish we got them before the trip for breaki!

Weekend Trip to Harmony Retreat
There are no words to describe how beautiful and relaxing this stay has been. I run a business and needed some much needed R&R on my own away from commitments.
I felt welcomed & safe and loved up by the lands and the animals along with
Michelle, Caroline and Troy, who welcomed me with open arms and were so easy going and caring.
Travelling on my own I was so glad to be greeted this way.
The sacred land has a sense of peace and tranquillity that opened my heart and eyes to the beauty of it all.
I was feeling very fragile & slightly burnt out. This is exactly what I needed and it all exceeded my expectations by far.
I will most definitely be back for some more R&R in the near future. 2 nights was not long enough. I didn't want to leave ☺️🙏
I also loved how special the animals are out there and they also gave me healing in their owns special way.
Even little dramatic lamb 'Lucy' calling out from the fence when she saw me as if she had never been fed. Hahah And Chloe the cheeky dog who ran to me for kisses at bed time. 😍
Such a beautiful loving Vibe and I thank the 3 of you for the most memorable experience I've had in a long time.
Just to sit with myself and nature was what I needed and thank you for supplying the magical back drop and land for me to do just that.
Warm, cosy, friendly, safe, loved & cared for are the words that come to mind.

Harmony Retreat was amazing! I had so much fun introducing my granddaughter to camping/glamping staying in the sunflower van. It was a perfect balance of outdoor cooking & living with the comforts of comfy beds and somewhere for quiet inside time.

This IS an absolute slice of heaven. Everything is lush, green and the streams and little waterfalls are just beautiful.
Maisie is an fabulous little van and the decor is adorable. Everything is fresh and bright. The set up is wonderful, and to cook on the BBQ next to a roaring stream while the sheep stroll by is delightful. Also, the composting toilet is amazing (strange thing to review, I know).
Deb is a wonderful, helpful host and answered all my texts really quickly.

This is such a beautiful spot! Liza & Dave have created such a lovely space and are so welcoming and friendly. The stove, the outdoor shower, the little tree house! So simple, cosy and adorable. A friend and I stayed here after doing some hiking nearby and we are going to make it an annual thing. Thank you so much for opening up this space for people to enjoy x

Weekend Trip to Yurt Abundance in Perth Hills
I had a really wonderful two nights here. There are some other houses around but it feels secluded and the neighbourgood is beautiful. Cooking with the camp cooker and having the pot belly stove on was super cozy and wasn't too cold inside. This is such a good option for the feel of camping but way more convenient and sheltered. The outdoor shower and tree house were also great. Lisa the owner is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this yurt.
