We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Weekend Trip to Lazy Acres Farmstay - Serpentine WA

We loved our stay, a very quiet spot, nice level solid ground, big fire pit in the centre (fire ban in place so couldn’t use unfortunately). We had the sheep come over and say hello, a very private spot. The instructions were very easy to follow and communication was easy aswell. We will be back, thanks to the hosts.

Weekend Trip to Lemmey House Farm

We had such a lovely stay at this Hipcamp spot. The place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful – perfect if you’re looking to really unwind and enjoy nature. Waking up and being surrounded by plum trees was just magical. The environment is very quiet and relaxing, and the friendly dog was such a sweet bonus, made us feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect, breathe some fresh air and enjoy the simple things. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, nature-filled getaway. We’d love to come back!

We had such a peaceful, relaxed stay, feels so private and secluded, but still close to the local shops. Hosts are friendly and welcoming, the animals are lovely, the space is awesome. The Sheep shed is perfect for bigger set-up, you will need to level, the orchard would suit smaller set up and is flatter. Great 4 night stay, highly recommend

I met a host at the entrance and he was very welcoming. The place was clean, calm and cozy. It has a nice toilet that I can use tap water, soap even and washstand. I would like to visit again. Thanks for everything!

We loved this place. All the campsites are very private and quiet. On top of the mountains, woods, views, kangas, birds, even a shingle back lizard visited our camp. We extended our stay. Bea was great with communication and made it easy. We will be back.

Andrew has been a great host, even with my late arrival. Very good with replies and very informative instructions to get there. I love the relaxed check out times, allows us to enjoy the mornings without the rush to pack and leave. Ridgeview north, is an awesome spot. Nice wide open space, nice flat ground that you can actually drive a peg in. Definitely will be back

Beautiful quiet spot, lots of birds- very tranquil. Paddock was freshly cut which was great with small dogs and worrying about snakes. Mark is very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the Changi site. Wide open space for both privacy but also close enough to have a group between if a gathering. Was just two of us at the time, was very quiet. Sheep roaming non invasively and saw a few kangaroos hopped by. Will definitely return. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dale’s due to: welcoming host; being immersed with well cared for and respected domestic animals (horses, sheep, dogs): reflected in their calm nature; limited number of campers; natural shading by established trees; basic but adequate bathroom facilities; central location -access to Swan Valley attractions, shopping, highways, public transport, Whiteman Park (great for families as has free waterpark, playgrounds, basketball courts, tram rides (free for 2025), train rides, museums, cafe, large shaded lawns, natural bushland with native animals, cycling and walking paths and trails). Whilst there is some airtraffic noise at peak morning and evening times, this didn’t impact negatively on our stay; night air cooled; stars shone brightly; minimal ambient noise all made for 3 very restful nights stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Love the peace at 100 Acrewoods, our third visit, first one we have done in December, like every where, there were lots of flies and the March flies were nasty, so just make sure to be prepared, We had plenty of room for 2 caravans and vehicles at Opera 1.
