At the mouth of the Margaret River, this verdant region harbours some of Western Australia's most beautiful beaches, award-winning vineyards, and a rich Aboriginal heritage (the traditional land of the Wadandi People). Camping is a four-season activity in Margaret River, and cabin rentals are a great option, whether admiring the spring wildflowers, taking a summer whale-watching cruise, or enjoying winter hikes. Many tourist parks and holiday parks around Margaret River, Dunsborough, and Yallingup have cottage or cabin rentals, and some provide access to shared facilities such as a swimming pool or camp shop. Alternatively, rent a tiny cabin with a view over the vineyards, a fully furnished studio in the forest, or a cosy cottage surrounded by rolling farmlands. You can also find vacation rentals with easy access to the caves and coastal hikes of Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park or check in to a cabin in the woods at Boranup Forest National Park.
