Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking. We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water. Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site! We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski We are on the banks of the magnificent Murray River and all our three sites are absolute river frontage with uninterrupted views up, down and across the Murray River. North East Vic is a tourist mecca, with food and wine, lakes and rivers, cycling and markets, mountains and waterfalls. - We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 20 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. You can get petrol, take away, gas etc.

Mains water is available at the property to top up your Vans or Gerry cans should you need to replenish, so never run out of water 😊 It is surrounded by picturesque green countryside laden with ancient Red Rivergum Trees and billabongs with access to river frontage for fishing and the King River Site and White Cedar sites have a swimming hole for those hot summer days. The Secret Island site does have a swimming spot but not as safe for little ones. The river is ideal for swimming, floating and fishing. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property. Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided at the site plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around. The King River Site is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us. Accessible for most types of vehicles. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale (see Extras). We are close to the region’s attractions including 15mins drive to Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa, many Lookouts and National Parks, Lake William Hovell, Restaurants, Wineries and Distilleries of this special area.

Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright. The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north. Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites. The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

Firepits are permitted and wood will be provided (depending on fire restrictions in place at the time of booking). We welcome pets on leashes, but they must be under control at all times by owners and cleaned up after. We ask that you organise and confirm any animals coming to the farm prior to booking by message. The powered camp site can cater up to 50 people. $50.00 per person per night (except children under 10 years old). All persons under 18 years of age are to be supervised whilst on the farm. Alternatively, for people not wanting to camp out or those with caravans or RV’S we have a site in close proximity to a 20 x 9 mtr shed, powered with concrete slab. The powered shed site is $50.00 per person per night. Hunters Spread is approximately 3.5 hours from Melbourne. The farm is approximately 30 minutes drive to Beechworth, Bright and Lake Buffalo and about 50kms to Albury Wodonga. Please note that our summers are hot, and our winters are cold - so please pack accordingly.

So lovely! I camped here with my 9 yr old son and we both loved it. The cows were very curious but sweet and the river was incredible to cool off in on a hot day. Great communication beforehand and other campers were a nice distance away so that it felt very private. Highly recommend :)

Lovely spot right infront of the dam where we spent a couple of the afternoons fishing after it cooled down. Walking distance to a lovely little winery. No shade from trees so make sure your own as it can get very hot. Kim responded quickly and was very helpful :)

We had a great time coming to Glenmaye Farm with our three young kids. We had a lovely tour from the get-go from Matine and Ben.The farm provided space and privacy and all the camp sites were segregated. Our kids loved riding their bikes on the dirt roads and hills. We also saw the cows and the horses every day and some even came close up to our camper. For new years we travelled to Shepparton which was a short distance and we got to celebrate New Years Eve with the fireworks at the festival in Mooroopna at the oval. Although there was minimal reception, it was exactly what we needed to switch off and focus on the amazing views Glenmaye farm has to offer. Thank you for having us Matine, we loved staying here and will be back again.

This was the best Hipcamp property I have stated at. Ginnie and Garry were very responsive and met us on arrival. They are dog-friendly. The campsite had beautiful views and wasn't crowed at all - very generous spacing. But what stood out most were the facilities. There were actual flushing toilets (hand wash, paper towels and flannels were provided). There were two showers (with lost of hooks and shelves to put clothes etc. They supplied shampoo/conditioner. There was a kitchen and tea towels and soap/sponges were provided. There we picnic tables and undercover areas. All these areas were very clean. There was also a chest freezer of bags of ice to purchase on site, firewood and a fully stocked fridge/freezer/pantry with grocery items for sale via an honesty box. Not only that, this campsite was at least $20 cheaper per night than all the other campsites I have previously booked - including those with 0 facilities. Highly recommend this campsite.

Our campsite felt spacious and secluded - Matine has done a great job of setting out the sites so that everyone can enjoy their own space and the stunning views of the surrounding property.
