Looking for a peaceful and secluded spot to park up whilst exploring Bruny Island? Set on South Bruny Island, amongst the bush is a hidden away campground. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings with visits from local wildlife. Only a short drive away from local beaches at Lunawanna and Cloudy Bay and only 5 minutes away from Bruny Island Premium Wines. There are many beautiful walks nearby, and plenty of local attractions. The perfect spot from which to explore all that Bruny Island has to offer. The property itself is set on 100 acres, a working hobby farm with friendly hand raised pets. We even have a bush golf course, kept well maintained by the local wildlife. All campers must be 100% self contained. These are remote sites with no connections and there are no toilet facilities available. We have a strict leave no trace policy. Campfires are permitted in a fire box off the ground. The property is pet friendly but not fully fenced so your furry friends would need to be on lead. We have our own dogs on the property, livestock and plenty of wildlife.

Located an hours drive North West of Hobart near the quaint little town of Ouse (pronounced - ooze) and set on the pristine Derwent River. Like so many of the towns on the Derwent River, this region is very popular with bushwalkers, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain bike riders. Overlooking the "pot-belly" of the Derwent River,  This place is a fishing and kayaking heaven . Have a swim in summer, kayak or go for an adventure on your mountain bike. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! You're welcome to bring pets too.

Misty Ridge is conveniently located 35 minutes away from Sorell, 30 minutes to Orford but feels like a world away. This property feels isolated and peaceful. There is abundant space to explore, and clear flat grass for kids to play. We offer space and peace to pull-up your rv caravan or tent in a peaceful bush setting that is a perfect base for exploring Tasmania. -35 minutes to Sorell (shopping, dump point) -30 minutes to historic town Richmond -30 minutes to Orford (gateway to the east coast, beaches, surf) -30 minutes to Oatlands (historic town, distillery) -50 minutes to Hobart Please note there is no phone reception or very limited (you may get 1 bar at the gate and randomly around the property). Self sufficient campers only, we currently don’t offer toilets or water facilities. Camping is in the fenced area, however you are free to access our property via foot or push bike. There is a track that loops around the bush of the property. If you follow the track it eventually loops back to the grassy area of the property (roughly 20-30 minute walk).

Eeyore’s Campsite was the perfect tranquil spot to celebrate our Christmas 2025. It was wild weather but the terrain and adjacent forest protected us very well from the strong winds. We loved seeing the many furry critters busily mowing the grass and our friendly welcoming hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. We would highly recommend this HipCamp to anyone wanting to enjoy a peaceful spot nestled in a lovely natural setting.

What a find! Annette's place is fabulous. We had it all to ourself. The view was stunning, it was peaceful and very private. Annette was very responsive and helpful. The dogs had plenty of space to run around as did our daughter. Love this place.

If you want the full experience, take a right at the gate and drive up the hill past another gate (it’s open) to the top of the hill. Absolutely stunning views and the best spot! Sunset and sunrise are gorgeous. Thank you, Annette for sharing your beautiful property. I hope to be back soon!

Off the beaten track, yet in a strategic position as a stop during Tasmania adventures! Host was welcoming made our stay very straightforward. Great landscape, made only better by a couple of friendly horses grazing nearby. Our favourite bit was the peaceful morning sunrise. Would stay again for sure!

Weekend Trip to The Bunkhouse at Camp Infinite

Our family, all adults and one very pregnant daughter, had a great time, it was an adventure taking the kayaks and paddle boards down to the water. We weren’t in a rush and we had plenty of laughs trying to get on and off the boards. It was basic accommodation, we bought our BBQ and Eskies, there was a small fridge and we spent most of our time outside, taking in the serenity. What a view! We took our camp chairs too, just for added comfort, there were plenty of chairs provided. Our dogs had a fantastic time, tired them out swimming and playing cricket. Brad lives next door, we wouldn’t have known he was there. I did speak to Brad prior and he was very obliging, gave great directions and we would definitely go there again. Thanks Brad for allowing us to stay at your lodge, letting us take our dogs and for being a great host.
