The Barn, c1935, at Eden Farm on the outskirts of Cygnet has been renovated to create a fantastic place from which to explore the Huon Valley and beyond. Spacious 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms lets you bring the whole family along to create long lasting memories of time spend together. Roaming through the orchard, roasting marshmallows, feeding the Highland cattle, goats, sheep and alpacas. Only 45 minutes away from Hobart.

The Barn from early 1900 has been restored to create a touch of luxury  to your rural escape. The Barn is spacious with cathedral ceiling in main living space and exposed beams in the bedrooms.
 It's an inviting colonial eclectic space that makes you feel right at home.

We are approximately 4km from the shops at Ellendale with stunning views of Mt Field East. Our property contains two camping grounds next to a healthy creek, all with plenty of space and privacy, and an orchard where seasonal fruits (Late Summer/Autumn only) can be handpicked. For experienced hikers there is direct access to the track for Brown Mountain. We are listing our property as 4WD only if you wish to take your vehicle directly into the camping areas. 2WD vehicles can be parked in a safe area just after the entrance to make your way on foot to camping spots.

The town has a children's park which contains play equipment, exercise equipment and a BBQ facility and public toilets. The shops provide basic essentials and a post office. A supermarket is situated in the nearby town of Ouse approximately 20 minutes drive from our property.

Nothing is provided, so please be self-sufficient before arriving and leave no trace. Campfires in designated areas only (not during fire ban periods).

Ravens Nest Tasmania

A small farm in the beautiful Central Highlands of Tasmania, near the best fishing spots in the country. We are on the Lyell Highway, halfway between the west coast and Hobart. Come and stay for a day or two. Enjoy clean air, wildlife and our farm animals. Help feed them if you like.Enjoy the quiet life in Tasmania. Go for day drives and be back at night. Launceston is only just over 2 hours drive. Or just sit under the trees and let life pass you by. We came here and never left.Dog friendly but dogs must be kept under control. Campers need their own amenities as there is no toilet or shower. Closest public toilets are at Wayatinah Village, about 10 kms away, where there is also a pub where you can get meals at night and a general store/post office/fuel outlet that is open for a couple of hours each day.

Ryelands Farm & Vineyard

Small farm and vineyard at Macquarie Plains in the Upper Derwent Valley, southern Tasmania. The property is 380m from the junction of the Lyell Highway and the Gordon River Road. It has 450m absolute river frontage on the River Derwent (no riparian reserve). The river here is freshwater, potable and a renowned trout water, (licence required). Three kilometres from the village of Gretna.

4WD Preferred. 2WD need to assess river access.
Campers need all own amenities and leave no trace. Dog friendly but please see rules, we have livestock and so dogs need to be well controlled at all times. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place (see rules around campfires). 

Due to hydro generation activity, the river may slowly rise or fall up to 1m (often without rain) so please be careful around the water.

Bomana - Bushland Delight with Breathtaking Views

Bomana is a 36 acre property in Carlton River, on the way to the Tasman Peninsular. It boasts stunning views of Fredrick Henry Bay, kunanyi and neighbouring rural landscapes. The owners live on site (top corner of the block). We are offering two opportunities to camp/van/caravan on this delightfully private land. When you book, you can be assured that the property is yours alone, making it a quiet and private experience. The unpowered site gives you the opportunity to enjoy the land. The powered site additionally gives you access to a bungalow which has a couch, TV, bed and dining table, as well as a very basic kitchenette with a toaster and kettle. There is also a power lead if you just want to run power to your own set-up. Campfires are a must - nothing better than watching the sun set around the campfire.

This is a leave no trace property that suits campers who bring everything they need (including a camping toilet) and remove everything they bring. Good access for 2WD vehicles and caravans.

 Lots of opportunities to capture photos of sensational sunrises and sunsets.

The property is 3km from Primrose Sands Beach (great for safe swimming). It is 4.5km from Carlton Beach (great for surfing), 37km from Port Arthur and 13km from Sorell. Hobart is 45km.

We have goats on the property so pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis, please ask before booking with pets.

28 gates is a little piece of luxury in Tasmanias Derwent Valley, 1 hours drive West of Hobart. We are on a 5000 acre, family owned property dating back to 1862 being 6th generation farmers.28 gates was originally a stables and grain lofts built in 1936 then shearers quarters In 2009 we started the transformation to what it is today. It is a 2 level building with a luxurious interior using blackwood and Oak timbers. It sleeps up to 6 guests and has a fully contained kitchen.We are a Private Fishery so you can fish all year round to your hearts content and you do not need a licence. The Lakes are stocked with Wild Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout. We have guides available for extra tuition, if needed.
