Russell Falls Cottages at the entrance to Mt Field National Park offer self-contained, self-catering accommodation suitable for couples and families. Four spacious cottages – each set a comfortable distance apart on a beautiful piece of paradise . Also offering six Riverside fully insulated warm Camping Pods with comfortably made beds with electric blankets. Camping sites also available. The property is surrounded by the Tyenna River and has an abundant of wildlife such as padymelons, possums, platypus and other wildlife are frequently seen especially our resident echidna who wonders happily around the property. A footbridge across the river leads directly to Mount Field National Park, with the National Park Visitor’s Centre and Cafe, the Charles Marriott Shelter (BBQ facilities and children’s playground), and Russell Falls minutes walk away. The path passes through temperate tree fern rainforest, populated by glow worms. A minimum three nights stay is recommended as this area has so much to offer- Mt Fields walks and water falls- Junee caves- styx valley and land of the Giants- Strathgordon dam-creepy crawly walk-Lake Dobson- Rail track ride- Maydena adventure hub- Tassie bound adventures and you will need time to relax and enjoy Russell Falls cottages and the peaceful river, rain forest and birdlife.

We have 3km of our own hiking trails, and great mountain biking. Drop your kayak or fishing rod in just a few meters from the property. Please note: We only accept one vehicle setup per group (e.g combi-van, car+ campertrailer, car+caravan). We do however have a decent level parking area not far from the camping site, so if you have multiple vehicles yet are tent camping for example, you can park the additional vehicles in the carpark and walk to camp. Multiple caravanners traveling together will need to book separately. ​ We accept well-behaved pets. Most of the sites don’t have power, but we have a charging area for your devices. We also have a composting toilet, portaloo and an outdoor passive solar shower. Do you have an event we can help host? We could easily accommodate 30-40 for a day event. Enquire if interested!

Our paradise is located on Bruny Island, with forest mountain views to the west stretching to the south and east across Adventure Bay to Tasman Island and Peninsula. Camp is just a short walk to Quiet Corner and Two Tree Point, two iconic spots on the Adventure Bay coastline. Fluted Cape and this whole area are spectacular for nature lovers. And you'll be sharing the space with resident wallabies and native birdlife. This little block has plenty of sun and a shady fern glade for hammocks, flat spots for camping or vans, with a BBQ and fire pit. There is also a camp kitchen located in a cosy north-facing cabin with a lounge. We have a newly built toilet and shower block. Pet's are welcome, but we ask they be kept on a lead - see rules. All summed up to be the perfect peaceful getaway on Bruny island. Adventure Bay shop is 1 km away. A well stocked general store selling firewood bundles and fuel.

Hire some kayaks and ride out for a paddles on the bay discovering the kelp forests, rock pools and more. Have campfire with plenty of fallen wood available to collect and help us keep our bushfire risk down! Take a guided walk with Brad who is full of amazing plant and animal and bush tucker knowledge and he loves a good yarn! Or just wander at your own pace soaking up the beauty and tranquility. Organically grown seasonal vegetables available for purchase. Enjoy a lesson in food preserving with Laura and experience the off grid lifestyle in both its joys and challenges!

The Bunkhouse at Camp Infinite

Located an hours drive North West of Hobart near the quaint little town of Ouse (pronounced - ooze) and set on the pristine Derwent River. Like so many of the towns on the Derwent River, this region is very popular with bushwalkers, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain bike riders. Overlooking the "pot-belly" of the Derwent River,  This place is a fishing and kayaking heaven . Have a swim in summer, kayak or go for an adventure on your mountain bike. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! You're welcome to bring pets too.

Our tiny house/shack sleeps 2 people max. It is close to beaches and a lagoon. Relax night and day in a fire pit lounge area crafted with dry stone (large soft cushions included) plus an outdoor fire bath. A small separate shed houses a flushing toilet and gas hot water shower. The block has mains power; solar power and tank water. The block is surrounded by local endemic shrubs, trees and ground covers. We provide firewood, linen for the comfortable double bed, condiments for the fully equipped kitchen that includes crockery, cutlery, a fridge, a gas cooker, air fryer, sandwich toaster, camp oven, water etc. Just bring your clothes and food. The block is in a quiet coastal hamlet (with gravel roads and no street lights) ideal for beach and lagoon activities (surfing, walking, paddling, bird watching). Our 2 person sit on kayak is at the tidal lagoon 5 min walk away. We have crafted this space over a number of years for personal use and now would like others to experience it. Stargazing from the fire bath is a must do feature especially in winter. Dog/pet friendly.

Magnificent ocean views from the lounge or when lying in bed next to the window upstairs. The camp area and funky barn are in a peaceful location in a pasture paddock on 4 acres with lots of birdlife and walks nearby. It's a 10-15 minute walk through the property and along the picturesque cliff top coastline to the neck beach or just five minutes walk down to the sea cave. The main house where we live part time is on the property, but you still have your own space and privacy. Dogs are subject to pre-approval, and must be kept under control if our horses or dogs are on the property. Horses are usually only here during the winter months. Dogs are not to be left inside or outside the barn unattended, without approval. The property is fully fenced so there is plenty of space for your dog to run around and a large pond. And please don’t expect Airbnb standards if you chose to stay in the barn. This is a fun affordable upgrade/escape from camping without the glamour and high fees of glamping.
