Epic hikes, coastal road trips, and white-sand beaches tempt caravan campers to the Yorke Peninsula.
North of Adelaide, the Yorke Peninsula unfolds in a sweeping panorama of rugged headlands and white-sand beaches peppered with laid-back seaside towns. Hop in your campervan or motorhome and hit the road—the Coastal Way takes a minimum of five days to drive, looping around the entire peninsula from Port Wakefield through Marion Bay to Port Broughton. Jump out to hike the seafront Walk the Yorke trail, explore the Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, or take your pick of beaches to swim, surf, or fish. You won't have to look far to find a place to park your rig, whether you prefer a coastal campsite in the national park, a rural Hipcamp, or a first-come, first-served state-run bush campground. Facilities are typically limited, so it's helpful to be self-contained. Otherwise, you'll find holiday parks and caravan parks with powered sites and full amenities in all the main towns.
