This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Permission may be needed to access other private properties adjoining, however. Tanunda is only a 5-10 min drive away where a great range of food outlets and a wider range of cellar doors exist. The helpful staff at the Visitor’s Centre in Murray St can assist with answering questions and most services are catered for in the town’s centre. This site’s location lends itself to quite short or long term stays with close access to the fruits of the Barrosa. There are recharge and excellent public facilities at the Visitor Centre and links to Barossa Balloon Adventures if desired. There are no facilities, so campers must be 100% self-contained, taking all waste and rubbish with them when they leave.

We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy. Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Close to fox creek mountain bike park, barristers block winery and the main street of woodside We are right in the heart of the Adelaide hills. We have a workshop if u need some help with repairs on the road, large gravel car park for bigger set ups (we hace a 26 tonne horse truck so we can accomodate you longer rigs!), also have onsite BNB if ur wanting a bed and a hot shower! Let us know what you need and we would be only too happy to help. we spend 25 weekends of the year competing all around Australia and overseas with our horses so we certainly know what its like to have somewhere safe to come and rest your head..

We loved having a van at Steven’s place. Flat, quiet and beautiful trees surrounding. It was a bit tight getting in and out but enough room to manoeuvre once on the flat. Easy walk to town, and short drive to plenty of attractions in the area. Steven was a great help with local knowledge and tips on places to visit. Would recommend.

Steven’s property is beautiful. You wake up in the morning to nothing but the sounds of nature.

Zero net carbon cellar door front. We export three times the amount of electricity we use. We designed the building to be energy efficient.

Camped on the hill and had beautiful views of the rolling hills, dam, alpaca and sheep. Closeby to hanhdorf and a quick drive to mt lofty. Greeted by Rob on arrival who was accommodating and very easy communication. Would stay again.

1 night at Tanah Merdeka

Camping at Kangaroo Creek was lovely! Thomas met us upon arrival and told us about his beautiful land (and his adorable cows!). He was really nice and let us explore the grounds. The camp spot was private, quiet and was great for pitching our tent. We even saw a couple of kangaroos and a lot of cockatoos! The drive there was easy with a 2WD. We would definitely go back, and I can recommend it to everyone regardless of camping style!

Had an excellent time at this spot, tucked away on a nicely grassed area. Steve was more than welcoming. There was a zipline and swings for the kids to play and there are also some resident koala’s you can spot in the trees. We would definitely stay again if we head to South Australia again!

Steve Was a wonderful host land was beautiful and shady plenty of room. Bit tricky to get into but if you follow Steve’s instructions which were great you will be fine. Close enough to Adelaide to enjoy the city but still far enough away to be in piece and quiet

Beautiful and peaceful campsite! Lots of bird life, a bubbling spring less than 3 meters away from our caravan and Steve is a great host. We (and our two dogs) really enjoyed our 3 nights here! Highly recommended.

Weekend Trip to Pymbroke Camp

It was a beautiful quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. Being summer it was very dry, however the long drop toilets were very clean. In the cooler weather it would be great sitting around the communal campfire. Track was a bit rough going in and out but take it easy and the serenity is worth it. My only downfall was the Red belly black bathing in the water, his habitat my phobia!
