Situated less than five minutes drive from the iconic Seppeltsfield Road lined with beautiful date palms and renowned wineries. You are spoilt for choice with a fantastic selection of bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants showcasing the regions local produce in the township of Tanunda, a short 6 minutes' drive from your stay. If you're after some tips, we are happy to help, we have our favourites! Meet our winemaker and owner, Belinda van Eyssen, for a personalised tasting of our award-winning wines. Our winery is just a stroll away from your campsite so everyone can enjoy a taste. If your visit coincides with our grape harvest from February until April, feel free to join us for the excitement of grape picking or processing in our on-site winery. Enhance your stay by pre-purchasing wine tastings, a curated local platter, and wines from our Estate when booking, with all campers enjoying a 10% discount on wine purchases. For cozy evenings under the stars, firewood is available for purchase at $25 per bag. We are excited to welcome you to The Cutting and will be here to meet you when you arrive. Eckert’s Old Place

We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy. Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Bring your own bedding. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided). The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery. Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing. Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda. Campfires welcome when not in fireban season. You can order a wheelbarrow load for $30, or bring your own. Dogs are permitted, but please understand, we are a sheep stud and need to ensure no disturbance from dogs. Please advise if you intend to bring your dog.

In a great area, with lovely views, close to wineries and local attractions. Access to the Reisling Trail, Gateway to the Clare Valley Wine Region. Nice level sites under big gum trees. Easy access with turn around area, right off the highway. No access to the cottage at this stage, but free access to the decks. Pets welcome - must be kept close by as stock may be close.

An ideal location for caravans and rv for short stays. Power and water are available on request plus an outdoors toilet , but selfcontained vehicals are preferd.

Explore heritage sites, including an old shearing shed, and enjoy the natural springs. The site is close to walking trails, and you can investigate the old Willalo School site. A short drive will take you to the quaint townships of Hallett and Booborowie, where you can enjoy a cooked breakfast and superb coffee at the Booborowie Cafe and Smallgoods. The site is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Burra and Jamestown and 45 minutes from Clare, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are welcome in fire pit.
