Camping near Berri

The small Riverland town of Berri, roughly halfway between Adelaide and Mildura, is a handy place to pause when travelling in the tri-state region of South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales—and self-catering campers will be happy to know that Berri lives up to its nickname as Australia’s fruit bowl. Berri is on the banks of the long, winding Murray River, So Berri campsites and holiday parks often come with river views and easy access to the water. There are also plenty of campsites and caravan parks along the highways around Berri, as the town sits on a main inland route between South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales, and is on the way to the UNESCO-listed Mungo National Park. Even more outdoor adventures await in the Murray River National Park to the south.
