Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush. Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer. Site 2 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons. Site 3 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. Site 4 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. A seasonal creek runs through the property. We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods. There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

Joyful Valley is a rural bush property with level grass areas surrounded by trees. Easy access to major roads, shops, tourist area’s and beaches. There are water billabongs and a creek with tiny fish, lotus flowers. Kangaroos,, goannas, horses, lots of butterflies and bird life to see. Bee hives and horses are onsite. This is a super convenient location. The Bruce Highway is opposite where the property then stretches far back. Enjoy bush camping and being able to stretch out with space but with all your conveniences so close by, 3minute drive to the uni and shops. The beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast are within a very easy reach along with Aussie World and Australia Zoo. A new bike path now links you directly with Aussie World and Banana Benders Pub. Cost is for 1 vehicle and up to 4 people per site, for more vehicles and guests please add this on in the extras section - or contact host, - or booking another site and we’ll join you at one. Campers will need to be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Sorry, we strictly cannot allow pets.

There’s also a little skate park and a tennis court available. 5 mins away Palmwoods boasts the popular ‘Piggyback’ modern Asian cuisine or the pub if you prefer. Close to hinterland and Maleny for waterfall walks and hikes and also 25 mins to the surf beaches in caloundra. We are in an ideal spot for exploring the Sunshine Coast. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

The closest place I could find to pull up my caravan near Sippy downs. Kangaroos and beautiful trees a lovely sight. Instructions where to go provided on booking. I was lucky I almost had the place to myself. Conveniently close to motorway and sunshine coast animal rescue, which I didn't know existed. Apparently, there is an op shop type market Wednesday and Saturday's 8-12.30.

Great spot for those with a sense of adventure. Pleasant camping area under the stars with fantastic bird song at night. Definitely need a 4WD with low range to get into and out of the property...semi steep decent into the camping location. Host was out of town when we arrived and quickly responsive to assist via telephone.

Absolutely loved camping here, the serene sound of insects (I’m assuming Cicadas) singing as you drive to your site was mesmerizing. Toilet and shower were in a great location and very well maintained. 10/10 Will be visiting again in the future :)

Fantastic spot and great amenities! Such a lovely place to be. Surrounded by nature, but also close enough to Monteville, Maleny and surrounds. The camping spot was clean, lush and well taken care of. Shower and toilet were great! Will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Ryan & Tara’s Campsite. Such lovely hosts with an incredible open space. A must if you have a 4WD. We had so much fun having some campfires and just enjoying the nature and peace that’s around. The toilets and showers are well kept and we would definitely recommend to anyone.

Ryan and Tara's hipcamp was a wonderful hide away. The signage, site map, prior communications was all super helpful. Definitely understand it is a 4x4 track but what awaits at the bottom is a manicured lawn set up for camping and isnt over crowded which is very considerate of them. Thank you for a peaceful stay 🙏
