Leichhardt Creek Organic Farm

 We have a fire ban in the day and fires only after 5pm or no fires if windy as the bush is very dry, will have to have a total fire ban soon .We can take bookings now, sites are mowed and cleaned up, , some erosion of the site2 has occured due to flooding please be carefull.  We have had some trees at campsite 2 cut into with a axe or sharp object please do not damage our enviroment.. We have a 300 acre organic property which is mainly open forest with a mile of creek frontage. Smaller caravans, tents, camper vans and rooftop tents can camp in the forest next to the creek. This is a working farm and we don't check emails every day so please book ahead. You will have to confirm what time as we have a locked gate.

Grassed site  # 1 with an outlook to the north, overlooking the lower dam. Not a huge space, but nicely positioned to enjoy the Sunsets.

Juliet  and Grant have been custodians since 2003, in that time we've built a house, raised a family and now that Alex and Hayley are both at University, life has become a little quieter, (not so sure if we like the quiet though!)

Now we've only just started with Hipcamp, we do have a lot to discover, happy to listen and learn.

We do offer plenty of space and you will not be crowded out as we keep numbers very limited.  No facilities, no toilets, showers, electricity, rubbish bins etc. We do ask that you respect this as you must be fully self contained. We do not consider, a bucket with a lid, to be self contained ok!

Mowbray Valley Homestead

Located just 15 minutes from Port Douglas and 30 minutes from Palm Cove our property is the perfect base to explore all the beauty this region has to offer.

We have close access to some beautiful nearby creeks and walking trails. With Four Mile beach, Spring Creek Falls, Mowbray Falls all at your door step there is endless adventures to be had.

The property is right near the Mowbray National Park and the Bump Track which is a popular and memorable mountain-biking experience for those who love to ride. This 6km trail climbs from sea level to almost 400m within just a couple of kilometres, allowing riders to experience one of the biggest downhill thrills in the region.

You might also like to explore further and do a day trip up to the Daintree. Your friendly host is always happy to share local knowledge so you can get the best out of your trip.

Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times.
Campfires allowed, must been in a fire pit or equivalent.

Kingston Road Farm Stay

Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm.  You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions.  

We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm.  Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity.  

In the drier months, from April to December, we bale our pasture, and grow mixed vegetables and flowers to supply our roadside market stall in Mossman on Wednesdays each week. See Facebook:  Pink's Produce, Miallo. 

Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own.  Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy.  If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around.  Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings.  

Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas.  There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.  

Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.  

Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate.  Firewood is available for purchase.  

We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $20/night.  Must be booked through Extras.  

Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them.  Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane.  We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township.  You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

🦋 Rainforest & Tropical Gardens

Rainforest & Tropical Gardens is an alcohol, tobacco, drug free property and has sites available for camping on a private, peaceful acreage with beautiful gardens in amongst pristine rainforest. 

We are located just a few kms from the small town of Mossman in Far North Queensland and would suit quiet, respectful campers.

Campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, plenty of fire wood on site.

The property is suitable for well supervised children.

Well behaved pets are welcome, please ensure you clean up after them and keep them under control at all times.

Toilet facilities available shortly (January) on West side of property, follow the pink ribbons hanging from the trees.

Note: We only cater for tents, car camping and camping trailers. No heavy vehicles.
