The property is teeming with diverse birdlife and wildlife, including Emus. Please adhere to a "leave no trace" policy as there are no facilities available here. Guests must be self-sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. Water and power are not provided. We are in proximity to the historic township of Kooroongarra and the unique landmark, Mt. Bassalt.

Here's a review: "5/5 stars! We had an absolute blast camping at this incredible 135-year-old hut. The surroundings were picturesque, with lovely views and a serene atmosphere. What really made our stay special, though, were the friendly cows that wandered by to say hello! Despite being near a road, the noise was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy nature. The hut itself added a unique touch to our camping experience. We can't recommend this spot enough - it's a must-visit for any camping enthusiast!
