Noosa Everglades Eco Retreat was founded by Peter and Deborah Gilbert, they stumbled across the property nestled in the Coolola National Park in 1993 and have shared this special location with family and friends over the years. In 2022 they have decided to share the unique property with guest from all around the world. Come and experience The Noosa Everglades, one of only two everglades systems on Earth, is a world of water, wilderness and wonder in the upper reaches of the Noosa River.

The surrounding area is teeming with diverse flora and fauna. It's a great place for birdwatching and wildlife enthusiasts. If you time your visit right, you might even see whales migrating up the coast!

Though there is a house on-site, and it is near your campsite, as seasoned Hipcampers ourselves, we understand the importance of your privacy. We can not see you from our residence. You’ll have space to relax, unwind, and soak in the beauty of nature without disturbance. We have a shared swimming pool on site attached to the house that you are welcome to use.
