Broangus Bomber Wreck Rest

Gateway to the South Branch off Emu Creek with the site off the Lincoln Wreck nearby. Sadly a resting place of 6 people. 1955,  Mt Superbus.  Highest peak in south east QLD. This is a Historic Area it  should be respected and enjoyed by all.

Border Main Range National Park.  Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks.

Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites and SOME complimentary wood supplied. Can purchase more a the property bags $10 or quarter trailer $25. Cracking camp areas prior to or after walks. Or just  kick back with family and friends put a camp oven on relax and enjoy the mountain air.

Recommend off-road or four-wheel-drive, on road vans can access but need to take it very slowly as there’s four water crossings with gravel and small rocks.

Berrima Camping & Farmstay

My 100 acre grassland property is mostly natural ironbark grassland, bounded by the Condamine River to the east and the sealed Cullendore Road to the west. Grazing and farmland to the north and south. The nearest neighbours live a distance of approximately 1.5 km away, so peace and quiet is guaranteed.

ALL Camping areas are  accessable by small sedan type vehicles

I encourage bikes and walking, over the entire property, but Motor Bikes, and rough FourWheel Driving are not allowed.

The 4  Camping areas are:

* RIVERSIDE..  10 level camping sites are available, suitable for single campers, or family groups, right beside the Condamine River

* RIVERCAMP another area of mostley level dispersed sites are avialable in close proximatiy to the River, scattered around the trees, and the Dam, but still having direct access to an open section of the river bank, for swimmimg, fishing or Kayaking

* MIDCAMP..  7 level sites approximatly 200 meters up from the Comdamine River, and overlooking (and access to) the rivercamp, surrounded by mature "Iron Bark" trees and grassland, Plus several more dispersed sites, suitable for all types of camping from Vans to Tents.

 This area also includes a small number of powered sites

* TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp,   overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles

*Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own.

 *Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites

*Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt.

Dogs are welcome but  must be controlled by owners at all times.

Warrego Farm

This is a 226-acre lucerne and cattle farm 7ks from Warwick. It is situated on the Condamine River and Swan Creek.

Port-a-loos are often provided for free on busy weekends, and can be rented otherwise. 

We also have a black or greywater waste dump point.

Rubbish bins also provided. 

Camp sites are located on the Condamine River & Swan Creek and adjacent paddocks. Kayaking, swimming, yabbies and fishing available. 

We also have a motorhome or caravan black or greywater waste dump point. 

Order your delicious free-range eggs and meat trays in advance.

Also have a breakfast special which is 1/2 KG shop smoked bacon and 1 doz 700 gm free range eggs.

Also have firewood for sale. 

Unprocessed honey also available.

Campfires permitted if restrictions aren't in place. Dogs permitted.

Children are free.

 Kayaks are free. 

We have a very private campsite for clothing optional campers.

There is also 6 powered sites back of the river.

There is also showers and toilets near the powered sites .

There are also 11 port a loos available for a cleaning fee.

Please ensure you check our arrival directions before you come. Our place is easy to find, but we are farmers and always out working, so we probably won't be at the house when you arrive.

Booyong Camping

335 acres of undulating rainforest and eucalyptus forest bordering the Condamine River within the Cambanoora Gorge. 4WD access required.

The property has a  huge array of wildlife species including the beautiful and rarely seen platypus and lyre bird. 

We prefer campers to have their own amenities and leave no trace, however, I am building a toilet block.  if you do not have your own (please BYO toilet paper).

I welcome people to visit my art studio by donation. I've been sculpting for over 25 years specialising in extinct animals including taxidermy of some of Australia's rarest marsupials.

Camps have 1000m of river frontage (access through the gate or fence) flanked by beautiful hoop pine trees and river oaks. Toilets facilities will are under construction.
For biosecurity reason collect your own fire wood or purchase from Paul 

Nyalar Mirunganah Nature Refuge

**Our camping sites vary in size and proximity to others. If you want to come with a group with several vehicles etc, please send a message rather than book separate sites. We will help find a site which suits your needs.

We now have several secluded bush camp sites as alternatives to our more 'civilised' sites. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others.

We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)!

The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state.

It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge.

And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Tracks for walking or riding. Up is approximately NE. Scale is about 2 km east to west. Most tracks are labelled on the ground by small signs.
