The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in.
The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type.
Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you.

Our 330 acre property backs onto the beautiful D'Aguilar National Park and is still heavily treed with some cleared areas for cattle grazing. The property has many interesting native birds, animals and trees for you to discover. There are many walking tracks both gentle and steep within the property.
Approximately 2 hours from Brisbane CBD.
Either stay in our popular cabin for those creature comforts, or camp next to our creek bed areas and enjoy the serenity. There is No cellular service around the camping areas to help you unwind!

Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Is is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the beauty that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We currently only offer one campsite so you will have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. There are Geese who often visit the property who you are welcome to greet and feed. We also have an abundance of bird and wildlife who visit the property and have even been lucky enough to spot a Platypus in the billabong. Our property is home to a number of Horses and we offer Horse based activities for an additional cost (see our extras) so you can meet them and learn some basic horse riding skills. We are just 15 minutes from the popular Eumundi Markets and 30 minutes to Noosa main beach. The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.

A short 2.5 hours from Brisbane and nestled in the magical Sunshine Coast Hinterland, our property is surrounded by Conondale National Park. Featuring 60 acres of lush rainforest, soft grass, a running creek and lots of wildlife, we are working towards our important vision of regeneration, natural building and traditional organic farming.
Booloumba Creek runs along the boundary and has crystal clear waters with a magical rainbow of coloured rocks in the creek.
The property is literally at the end of the road, surrounded by the national park and rainforest, which is normally only accessible by 4WD, camping at our property gives you access to a beautiful park and walks which may otherwise be inaccessible.
We have 4 sites but only accept one booking at a time perfect for just one tent and a private getaway or for groups of families and friends. Message to discuss any special group needs including catering or how to book a group into multiple sites.
If you want to just arrive and immediately relax, in addition to the tents already set up we can also provide a Welcome meal for groups of 6 or more or a breakfast/dinner package. Please message for details and availability.
We are a 10 minute drive from the township of Kenilworth where you’ll be able to pick up supplies for your holiday. The town is noted for its bakery with donuts, the Kenilworth Dairy and has a growing market on Saturday mornings. The famous Eumundi Markets are 45 minutes away and open on Wednesday and Saturdays.
We love celebrating food and a healthy life, and inviting people to enjoy our space is one step, with the vision for the accommodation to support events and education based around food, plant medicine, natural building and celebrating connections with friends, family and nature.

Frankie is a cool and comfortable caravan with all the amenities you could ever need to immerse yourself in nature! Its a beautiful property with a private sauna and thermal bath while enjoying the natural views. Suzanne is a warm and caring host, making sure we were well looked after. My family and i absolutely loved our stay at GG's ranch. We spent four nights over the Christmas period.
The cottages were clean and rustic. Large modern bathroom was a bonus.
Kitchen was well equipped to cook up our Christmas feast. Our grandson and pets loved the wide open spaces.
One of our highlights was sitting on the deck each morning and watching the many black cockatoos flying over.
We would love to return one day.

Weekend Trip to Bellthorpe Stays
We had a great time at Bellthorpe Stays. Dave was a welcoming and informative Host who was happy to tell us about the property, walks, and wildlife. The property offers many walking trails and has waterfalls and scenic views as well as a communal fire pit area, and the old dairy shed which is stocked with books, DVDs and games to borrow. The Host’s dogs were friendly and like taking guests on walks. We enjoyed feeding the birds on the deck in the mornings, especially the king parrots who ate from our hands. Such a peaceful setting filled with the sounds of birds and frogs.

A beautiful and peaceful space with everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, vege garden, birds, frogs, privacy. I loved using the outdoor bath. Bathroom and toilet spaces are very functional and clean.
I love that there is no phone service, beautiful space to connect with nature. Used herbs and lots of beautiful spinach from the garden.
Kenilworth and Imbil towns 15 minute drive, and can get service there if you need.
Glen and Dominique are friendly and respect your privacy. Thank you so much guys.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at dragonfly cottage. It has everything you could possibly need and the kitchen is very well appointed.
The bathroom and outdoor toilet is very luxurious and we felt like it was a hotel standard of bathroom.
It was a very hot weekend but luckily there was a fan in the cottage that ran off 12 V power so we managed to stay cool at night.
Perfect for a couple, I think it might be a stretch with more than two adults.
Glen was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely consider coming back.

Such a lovely location to connect with nature and family and friends. Michael and Kagi have provided a great setting to just relax and recharge. It’s walking distance to the Conondale national park with fabulous crystal clear swimming holes everywhere to explore. The tents are very spacious and the cooking facilities have everything you need. Just pack some clothes and food and you’ll have a great time!

The cottage was lovely and a perfect break from technology. The river was walking distance for a swim which was nice.
There was a couple of things such as the outdoor lighting (didnt work) and the pond (very smelly if the wind was blowing the wrong way) needed some TLC. But overall a good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, a first time experience for us staying off grid. Glen and Dominique have really put thought into Dragonfly Cottage. We loved the bathroom, kitchen and outdoor area ( the car stereo with playlist was a nice touch ) The perfect place to escape and be with nature and we had plenty to keep us entertained during out stay. I flew from Sydney to spend time with my brother and dad as they both love on the Sunshine Coast. We had booked another place prior and it got cancelled on us the day before as they had doubled booked. My brother and I frantically looked online trying to find a place, when we came across this one. It was even better than what we had originally booked! The place was so beautiful and beyond what we imagined. On arrival Anthony, Cass and Winnie (they're cute dog) greeted us and showed us around. They were all so friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The adjoining cottages were perfect, the land was lush and green with many trees and the lake was full of wonderful birdlife. At night we all sat by the fire, eating dinner and listening to my dad's favourite songs. In the day we went on adventures and came home to relax in the wonderful cottages. Sitting on the veranda with a cuppa and taking in the misty mornings was a great way to start the day too. Thanks for having us, we definitely made some great memories that will be cherished forever!

What a gem of a spot for a couples weekend away! The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a dream. The cabin was a good distance from any other homes, which made it feel like our own peaceful retreat. The birdwatching was a real highlight, with water birds gathering at the billabong and amazing black cockatoos flying overhead in the afternoons. Such a special place to reconnect with nature and each other. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and soak up the serenity!

It’s a lovely place. Quiet and peaceful. I had a good time disconnected and reenergised. I travelled alone and arrived late at night. Anthony and Cas check on me when passed the original ETA and came to the gate to wait for me in the dark which was amazing. It’s a magical where you can watch the sunrise, sunset, moon rise and moon set.

The beautiful log cabin is something straight out of the movie. Such a peaceful getaway, with plenty of birds and stars in the night Sky to keep you company.
Anthony and Cad are such welcoming hosts! Ask them about the history of the property when you arrive.
