The perfect spot to spread out and relax, have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space. The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. We also request that you kindly ensure that your pet does not go inside the caravan or on any of the furniture including the bed, lounge etc. If there is dog hair in the van or on the couch we may need to charge an extra cleaning fee.

Our first stay at a HipCamp and Lisa made the process super easy and she was so kind when she greeted us. The sites were gorgeous and grassy. Walked around barefoot & enjoyed the open sky views with the cute creek that had the most gorgeous lilly pillies & we even saw an eel! This was our first stay on our lap of Australia and we couldn’t be happier 🥰

This is the second time staying here and yet again was absolutely perfect. The host took extra care to mow where we had parked to remove excess grass clippings. We also asked to leave our van a little longer than normal and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Would highly recommend this for anyone and will definitely be back again soon. The location is so convenient. Easy access from the M1. Close to Pottsville and Hasting river mouth for SUP/fishing/surfing and general good time with young kids. And Byron is only 30 minutes down the road. Space away from other campers and of course beautiful grass everywhere!
