The farm is home to more than 70 animals (All have names) including dwarf goats, cows, chickens and miniature pigs, and our guests often have the chance to see cute baby animals up close! During the day you can enjoy a walk through the pine forest, and in the afternoon experience the incredible sunset vistas from our hill or from the luxurious outdoor bath. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. Ready to explore outside the Farm? We’re just a short drive to Eumundi, Pomona or Cooroy for cute shops and markets, or venture 25 minutes to Noosa for a day at the beach and a variety of quality restaurants. I live onsite in another area of the property, but will be available for any questions or help. The property has many interesting native birds, animals and trees for you to discover. There are many walking tracks both gentle and steep within the property. Approximately 2 hours from Brisbane CBD. Either stay in our popular cabin for those creature comforts, or camp next to our creek bed areas and enjoy the serenity. The cabin is situated privately on our hobby farm with the company of cows, chickens, dogs and ponies, dogs are permitted upon request. The cabin is cosy and self contained, it is a single bedroom, single bathroom, with walk in shower, toilet and filtered drinking water at the vanity sink. It also has a convenient kettle, toaster and BBQ area, the cabin has a queen bed but we can include a mattress for the floor for children, tents and caravans are also welcome in the guest paddocks. Guests are welcome to feed the chickens, ponies and cows, and collect the eggs from the chicken barn. Enjoy the serenity and silence of the country with a fire in the extra large fire pit!

Please feel free to wander around the place, just be careful of the male goat in the back paddock"dragon" He can get a bit headbutty at times. If u tickle his beard, he tends to stop. There's also a water spray bottle which he hates. Otherwise all the other animals are very friendly. If u see the cows laying down they will let you lay next to them I will leave some feed in the cabin so u can feed them.they get very excited about food There's also a picnic blanket and pillows if u would like to lay under the oak tree. If you need more firewood there's plenty under the big gumtree in the middle of the yard. Please remember to extinguish fire fully before leaving unattended. The bbq is clean, but as its outside,be sure to let heat sufficiently prior to placing food on grill, to ensure bacteria is killed.and Please remember to turn off gas. You also have the option of pre ordering a home made charcuterie board on arrival. It consists of 2x meats 2x cheese, olives, bell peppers with cheese,2x dips, crackers , seasonal local fruit and vegetables. 2 sizes available - afternoon tea $45 or dinner. $65 It will be freshly made and placed in the fridge in the cabin, or delivered to your site if you are camping. Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. There are Geese who often visit the property who you are welcome to greet and feed. We also have an abundance of bird and wildlife who visit the property and have even been lucky enough to spot a Platypus in the billabong. Our property is home to a number of Horses and we offer Horse based activities for an additional cost (see our extras) so you can meet them and learn some basic horse riding skills. We are just 15 minutes from the popular Eumundi Markets and 30 minutes to Noosa main beach. The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.
