6 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents300 acres · Moama, NSW Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up.
NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here.
We're located just 5kms northeast of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage.
We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers.
The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep.
Campers must take out what you bring in.
Big Bama and No 3 - you'll need to be fully self contained. There is a dump point in Moama.
Toilets can be hired from Central Hire in Echuca. They can deliver it for you.
Mobile and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear!
