The Wonnarua people are the traditional owners of the Singleton area, and their land extends throughout the Hunter Valley. They have occupied the Upper Hunter for at least 30,000 years, with traditional knowledge holding that occupation extends back to the early stages of dreaming.

Winn, Roger and James’s “The Wattle Lodge”, is located on their picturesque 100 acre cattle grazing property in Glendon Brook within the Singleton District, Hunter Valley, NSW.
Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley between the Pokolbin vineyards and Upper Allyn State Forest part of Barrington Tops National Park, it's an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful region.
The spacious Eco–friendly Lodge provides all the comforts with 2 bedrooms (each with en-suites) accomodating up to 4 guests, kitchenette, spacious dining and lounge area. Reverse cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans. All freshly sun-dried bed linen and towels supplied.
A front deck to relax on, with outdoor furniture and Webber BBQ, take in the breathtaking views of the rolling hills and countryside and incredible starry skies at night!
Winn has had 28 years in the Hunter Valley Boutique winery and hospitality business and is happy to help with places to visit and wineries to see! Roger is a cattleman and loves to talk about the Land and history. Enjoy a wealth of local information from the Owners! And by arrangement, take a walk on the farm.

DOG STAYS are available by request for well-behaved, immunised dogs, up to 2 Dogs only and all care and responsibility must be taken by the dog owners at all times. Please mention if you are bringing a dog in your booking request.
Dogs can not stay in the lodge alone and must be supervised by owners at all times. There is a fully fenced dog-proof playground area with a large kennel located next to the Lodge, extra towels, and an outdoor hose. Just bring your dog's basket/bed, toys and food!
There is a very good local pick up and deliver back to the Lodge - Dog Daycare,
