We run a lifestyle property with some mischievous goats, Scottish Highland cattle, horses, chooks & 3 crazy dogs. Our local area is jam-packed with loads to do. Wineries a plenty, great food, & great pubs. You can spend your days relaxing & enjoying the fruits someone else's labour. If you are after something more energetic; we are close to some of Victoria's best 4wding. You can test your limits or simply go searching for our iconic high country huts. During the winter, you can day trip to the snowfields. If this is not your scene you can simply enjoy the lights of Mt Buller ski resort as you sit around your campfire at night. Our area is steeped in Ned Kelly history, where you can retrace his footsteps throughout the district. Dog friendly, campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place & firewood included. It has been a few years since we stopped hosting campers at Samsons Gully, but we're back and looking forward to meeting new and old friends. Samsons Gully is a working cattle farm nestled in a stunning private valley. If you are after peace and tranquillity this is where you will find it. We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing. The favourite camp site is on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. However, there are plenty of places to camp in the bush for those wanting more seclusion. Samsons Gully is a perfect base to explore the Upper Murray. 20 minutes away is Corryong where there is an IGA, service stations, dump point, Dr and hospital, pubs and cafes. 10 minutes away is the Cudgewa pub who do dinner Wednesday through to Sunday evenings. Our property suits fully self contained campers only as there is not toilet or shower. Dogs and horses are welcome but must be well behaved and kept close to your camp site as this is a working cattle property. Due to council regulations we can only open one site up at a time. This ensures that your time here will be exclusive, peaceful and private.

Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away. Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras). Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright. The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north. Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites. The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

Our Callaghan Creek unpowered campsite is large enough for a big group and has access to water and shade. We also offer a large farmhouse located across the creek from the campsite which we offer on Air BNB so if you plan a big getaway with friends and some are not keen campers then our guest house might be a perfect option. It is a short walk through a ford in the creek from the camp site. Mobile phone coverage is possible if you are with Telstra as there is a Telstra tower not far away. Our Callaghan Creek camp is in a secluded and very pretty spot on our farm. Access is via a dirt track across paddocks and down a short steep slope to the creek. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times as farms can be dangerous places. There are large animals, snakes and deep water. Well-behaved dogs on a lead are allowed. All campers must have their own camping toilet and be self-contained.

Sleep in our lovely vintage caravan on the hill top overlooking beautiful 15 Mile Creek valley and Middle Creek. Enjoy mountain views and amazing sunsets. Have a camp fire in the fire pit and the watch the abundant wildlife.We are situated on 50 acres of bush land. Sleeping arrangements: 1 double bed and bunks. Upper bunk is ideal for kiddo weighing 20kg or less (bed rail can be supplied). Fitted sheets are supplied but please bring own pillows and doona etc. If sleeping arrangements inside caravan are unsuitable for group of 4 adults, feel free to bring your tent or swag. Bring an esky and ice for you food and drinks. Here you will have access to rubbish/recycling facilities, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery). Enjoy the nearby King Valley wineries, rivers and creeks or simply kick back at camp and watch the Roos and cows in the paddock below. The caravan is ideal for a couple or small family. The track up to the campsite is 2wd accessible in dry weather for capable drivers. The caravan is set up with lights and a USB charger. There is a BBQ set up for you to use and basic pantry items (oil, salt, pepper etc) there is a lovely fire pit with logs bench seats but probably worth packing your camping chair. We very much look forward to hosting you and are happy to help you out with ideas on places to swim, eat, fish, bush walk, bike ride etc.
