Featuring an amazing rustic cabin, nine riverside campsites, along with paddock and bush sites, all 4WD accessible and two equally stunning 2WD accessible sites. You’ll share our spaces with kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas, deer, platypus and more. Enjoy some optional extras, including Tammie's home made bread, farm fresh, free range eggs, or one of our range of grazing platters, home made jams or hot chocolate kits. Or pamper yourself with a Crystal reiki session, or tarot reading. The 2WD accessible sites feature spectacular views to the right, towards Mt Panorama and Mt Horrible and towards Mt Canobolas to the left. Lie back in your swag at night and let the star struck, velvety sky envelope you, or make a booking at the nearby Bathurst Observatory to see the stars up close. Each campsite offers its own unique features for you to enjoy and a hand crafted pit toilet is accessible to those camped along the river bank. Fish or swim in the river, ride your bikes, or set up camp and then head off on an adventure to the Goldfields at Ophir, or History Hill at Hill End via the Bridle Track. Better still, book into a pub crawl with Damo so you can lie back and enjoy the ride. There are plenty of opportunities for 4WDing and bushwalking in the local area. Fires are allowed (fire restrictions permitting). Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property, or bring your own if you prefer. Pets are welcome for a one off fee per animal. We do ask that pets are supervised at all times and that they do not interfere with farm animals or local wildlife.

Our property is situated on a working apple and cherry orchard at the base of Mount Canobolas, 10 minute drive from Orange. The region has much to offer including amazing wineries and cellar doors, quaint villages with artisans shops, hot air balloon rides, waterfalls, the Arch Cave and more. Here at The Orchard visitors are welcome to pick their own fruit in season, at a cost. Please speak to your host if you are interested. There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property to please keep them under control. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Amenities are available for campers. A shower and toilets are also available to campers.

We are pet friendly but pets must be controlled at all times and not chase the wildlife. We have a off leash area that is fenced where your fury friends can have play dates and run around. There are 4 large camping sites that must be you must self contained and leave nothing but footprints and great memories. Plenty of room for vans , boats , cars to park at your site . Camp site is a short distance from gate and 2wd can access. There is a communal fire place and wood is supplied but no collection of firewood. Fire only permitted in fire seasons. We run an 800 acre beef & sheep property situated 9km from Tarana on the Famous Fish River. Our property is a mixture of pasture & bush, with various campsites situated either on the Fish River or secluded bush sites. There are numerous secluded sites and ample room for exploring the scrub, rocks and river. We move the campsites around depending on water levels and the size of the group booking. ******Access to all sites is 4WD only (not AWD),including your van and may require a river crossing. **** Access to the sites is at your own risk- Please assess the track prior to heading down if you are at all concerned camp up the top. It can be slippery if wet and it is quite steep. - This is bush camping and campers need to be fully self-contained (own toilet please) - NO DOGS or pets please, as this is a working farm and we have fox baits out - Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - Campers may gather their own firewood onsite from fallen timber, It is sometimes handy to carry your own to get a fire going quickly when you arrive. - Please bring all your own drinking water (the river is available for back-up) - No Mobile phone service at the sites. Please consider alternatives for communication. (phone service is availible 2km east of the Gate (towards tarana) **Minimum 4 night stay For Easter long weekend and 3 nights for Long Weekends. We can accommodate large camping vehicles. We offer a lovely private camping area located alongside 2 spring fed dams, try your luck at catching a trout, Or even let your furry friends cool off with a well deserved swim. Don't forget to pack your thermals and your snow gloves in winter, just incase you need to make a snow man! You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Campfires are permitted outside of fireban season. Our property is in Evans Plains, just 15km from Bathurst. We have a number of large grassy sites available with plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The property has an abundance of wildlife, with a Koala colony, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Echidnas, Platypus (rarely seen), Parrots, Eagles, and possums for those who enjoy wildlife watching you will be spoilt for choice. Evans Plains Creek also contains alluvial gold which results in the area being very popular for gold panning. Bathurst Mt. Panorama racetrack is 15 km east of the property. The Bathurst goldfields can also be found at the mount. The rural gold mining town of Sofala (Australia's oldest surviving gold town) is 60km north on all sealed roads. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash so that they do not disturb livestock or native animals. Campfires are allowed but campers must bring their own fire pit if they would like a fire. Only fallen wood on the ground may be collected. Campers must also have their own camping toilet and take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. There are no designated campsites within the 145 hectares (360 acres) campground.
