We have four primative campsites suited to all types of large and small, self sufficient campers in RV's, caravans, camp trailers, vans and tents. All sites are unique and positioned to enhance space and privacy as well as proximity and views of the river. They all showcase the varying, natural beauty and characteristics of the landscape. You can also book our amazing, award winning glamping tent. We are not a party campsite. Our little slice of paradise is for peace and relaxation. We also need to respect and encourage the presence and abundance of birds and animals and continue to ensure it is a peaceful and quiet home for them. You can enjoy your music just as long as other campsites and the local wildlife can't hear it. Manilla, only 20 minutes away has two dump points and water refill stations as well as a good number of shops to cater to all your needs during your stay. We are not in a high traffic area so you may get to enjoy having the place all to yourself. Our campsites have good access for all types of camp set ups and are not impacted by flooding. Nor do they become boggy in wet weather due to the high sand content in our soil. You could be sitting on the warm sandy bank overlooking the river and being captivated by the surrounding beauty and the magnificence of the swimming hole. This secret little piece of paradise has been untouched for 40 years and is home to an abundance of birdlife. Birds include the colourful Rainbow bee eaters, Kingfishers, Superb Fairy Wrens, Eastern Yellow Robins, Red Browed Finch and many more. A magical place that will delight your senses and make you feel relaxed and at peace. BYO camp toilet and leave no trace. Fish in the river; cod, cat, golden perch and carp. Our property is located very close to Tamworth, which is great if you're visiting to attend one of the fantastic annual events held here. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. There is access to rubbish facilities. We have several options, with the first campsite being right near the dam with no power but good shade, and a fairly level site with water available. The second is in front of fenced area with access to power, water and lots of shady areas. We are happy to accommodate horses and well behaved dogs (stock on property and ducks on dam). You can relax around the crackling campfire in the evenings. The Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is close so if competing we can accommodate your horses and your truck. For Country Music Festival I will remove horses from one paddock to allow for more campers, if booking looks full please message as may be able to accommodate still. Any bad behaviour will result in campers being asked to leave immediately.
