As we are located in the secluded and sleepy cane fields of South Ballina there is limited access to shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. The Burns Point Ferry is the best way to get to us, it runs from 5:30am until 12.30am daily, consistently running back and forth. An approx. 8min journey each way and costs $7.00 each way, payable by credit card only. So you can easily go into Ballina town for all shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. If the ferry isn't for you, you can drive to Ballina via Wardell on River Drive. The bungalow is located approx. 25m from the main residence, and the campsite is located approx. 300m from the main residence tucked away in the paddocks and forest. We are onsite and available if needed. Sugar Beach Ranch is an operating farm with staff onsite caring for animals and maintaining the grounds. This is a great base camp to explore the beautiful Coffs Coast with many attractions, and a short 10 minute drive to the famous Moonee Beach, Emerald Beach and Moonee Market which has a large Coles and Aldi, as well as specialty shops, cafe, restaurants and the family friendly Moonee Beach Tavern. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, or any RV, 2WD's, tents, camper trailers and 4WD's with excellent all weather access straight off the main sealed road👍🏼 Lovely shady sites as well as plenty of open sunny pasture for your solar with use of shared port-a-loo in main camping paddock. You may also camp in the dam paddock (when available) if you have a 4WD however, you will need to be completely self sufficient with your own porta potty. Firewood is available to be purchased from reception. *DUE TO FIRE ANT OUTBREAK IN QLD AND NSW, BRING YOUR OWN (BYO) FIREWOOD IS NOT PERMITTED* Hand feed the farm animals or enjoy hours of bush walking or perhaps have a picnic by the dam overlooking the horses grazing or discover our Secret Garden! Suitable for large groups such as 4WDs, family gatherings, horse riders, weddings and school groups. Plenty of space and privacy. PLEASE NOTE: - CHECK IN CLOSES AT 8PM - Potable water is limited due to weather conditions (drought), and the farm being on tank water.
