The area is a mix of houses, hobby farmers, homes on acreage, equestrian centres, produce growers and National Park. There is a glorious look-out in the National Park overlooking the Warragamba dam. Some days it is swept with clouds; enveloping you into the majestic heavens. It’s an easy ten min drive away. There is local towns 15mins drive for eating out and getting coffee.

It is sacred to the original people as two rivers meet here which was auspicious, and sacred to me and all that visit. The Aboriginal people used to live and commune here. And now it seems a place where people like to be, and Rest and Rejuvenation - even healing happens here.Since moving here myself in 2014 it has been a place of transformation and change. The land itself was abandoned with rubbish and weeds everywhere when I arrived and with a bit of hard work, some patience and care it has become a place of beauty. It has been returned to much more of its natural and native state. This process of positive change has created a healing in the environment and for myself, and visitors express this magic in the air.Nowadays we are offering meditation, yoga, and therapeutic types of practices in the main home that the land and campsite is a part of. Campers are welcome to join and this really makes staying here an opportunity for exploring these practices if you choose.Be good to share the land and we welcome all to Gondwana retreat!

This is a magical place, where a lot of effort has been put into detail - not only are the caravans themselves vintage, so are the interiors and accessories (including a sunburst clock). We had a lovely relaxing time with many photo opportunities!

Highly recommend silky oaks. I was in the retro Glamping and there was everything you needed. Bed, bbq, outdoor chairs, fridge, kettle, fan and heater if needed. Outdoor shower with hot water and toilet. Great location close to Sydney but still peaceful and private. Lots to do wander around the farm, feed the horses (bring carrots) or explore the area. Highly recommend. The camping site were great too by the look of it.

Stayed for 2 nights during the horrific rain Sydney had, so we didn't have a chance to explore. The first night was a powered site with an en suite, which was fantastic. Second night was a powered site with communal toilets/showers. Both were super clean, showers were hot and powerful.

The printery is the most perfect place to stay if you are exploring the northern beaches. The bed is so big and comfy, easy parking and the manly dam at the end of the street, it’s a perfect little nature getaway! And the best part is the outdoor shower, a real little tropical oasis and you can have a piping hot shower under the stars ✨ J.S is the most amazing host too, very accommodating and friendly, a real gem of a stay 💎

They provide so much more than listed! 2 of us stayed in the van and 2 of us camped in our rooftop tent just nearby. Cute campervan, my sister reported that the bed was comfy. There's a large shade cloth area with tables and chairs, a bbq, a firepit and an outdoor sink. Cold shower setup outside too. Thanks David!

My little family and I really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was cosy and pretty much everything we could ask for for supplies (e.g. toilet, power, shower, fans, sink, crockery, fridge, bedding) was there. My son enjoyed stomping in mud, seeing the horses, running around and campfires. Focus for us was a few days of relaxing, so this ticked the boxes well! David was an easy going and helpful host. A lovely backdrop of paperbarks and palms. We were met on arrival, had all the assistance we needed, and were excited to explore the walk that took us to a beautiful view of the Brisbane waters. Bring your mozzie spray, set up your camp, and sit back and relax by the fire. The host could not be more helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay!
