Enjoy 10 acres of nature, with lots of peace and serenity yet just 10min to boutique town of Wingham, 30min to beautiful Old Bar Beach (dog friendly) 25min to Taree and just 30min drive from A1 highway. Wingham has award winning coffee and dining, golf club, town hotel with great meals, swimming pool, bowling club, monthly markets, Coles, fuel, chemist, rifle range, clay pigeon shooting, famous brush walk to enjoy the resident bats and much more. Shared camp kitchen available with gas oven/stove and some pots, pans, utensils etc. Camp kitchen has table and chairs and wash-up facilities with tank water. Solar shower also set up. We have two full dams that host our 6 ducks, free range chooks (collect your own fresh eggs daily-not available in winter) a couple of farm cats and awesome birds-Rainbow Lorikeets, King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas and Kookaburras. Also spotted a fruit bat on our gravillia tree today. We have also seen an owl near the chicken coop and if you're lucky you may spot the kangaroos in the paddock. We welcome tents, campervans, trailer tents and caravans but you need to provide your own water, shower and toilet. Although we do have a porta potty that can be hired. Nearby Wingham showgrounds has a dump point. CARAVANS and TENTS-Plenty of spots to choose from- open paddock or shades amongst some trees. Fires allowed but only in contained firepits and off ground. We currently have 3 firepit presently to use at your own site (must be kept off ground on bricks provided) or shared one is provided by camp kitchen. Fires not allowed during total fire bans Take your camping chairs to the edge of 1 of 2 dams and watch our pet ducks. The campsite is 2WD accessible and has plenty of space for your caravan, campervan or camper trailer. Pets on leashes are welcome. Plenty to see and do around here.

Large vehicles can turn around and drive on solid ground inside the property on some of our dispersed sites. Make your trip into an experience as you relaxe by the fire-pit with your beverage of choice, enjoy hot shower and cosy king bed. All the comforts of home and more as soon as you unlock the door! You can drive any size vehicle into our expansive grounds on our heavy duty driveway that leads you to your cabin, powered or native camp site. Large site. Private space. Our property is located just 30 minutes from Gloucester, 50 minutes from the Pacific Highway, 2 hours from Newcastle and 4 hours from Sydney. There are plenty of activities including bush walking, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the spa, strolling to the creek or sitting by the bar. We have unpowered campsites along and within walking distance of the creek. Caravans, tents and roof top tents all welcome on 250 acres of private rural property set in the majestic Wako Mountain Ranges. There is an animal petting farm for the kids to enjoy and a bar for the adults to have an afternoon drink. Enjoy access to a communal pool, tennis court, commercial kitchen, shower and toilet. There is a BBQ entertaining area, outdoor communal fireplace and sitting area for your comfort. Please note our drinking water is fed from the creek, you are welcome to purify it or bring your own drinking water. We have free range animals on our farm and ask that you keep your pets on leash when not at your campsite. Come enjoy a farm stay on our working farm, Altamira.
