All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them. Each site has a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package if you would like to engage in some outdoor cooking. It's fun, relaxing and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps. We have an amazing composting loo but no showers yet. We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We are dog friendly as long as your pet is quiet and well managed. Off-lead can be decided depending on the dog and the interaction with our passive 10 year old Koolie who is very relaxed around other dogs. They must be controlled as sheep are nearby and we have an abundance of wildlife. We have a slackline, a rope swing and badmitten for anyone looking to include more play in their stay! Responsible campfires are permitted in the metal fire pits in designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Rainbow Farm is in its beginnings on a journey towards being a hobby farm with a mix of permaculture, biodynamic and regenerative farming with land for wildlife. At non-peak times we don't have many bookings, so you can enjoy the peace and privacy of your riverside campsite or glamping accomodation tucked away at the bottom of our back paddock with views of and access to swimming and paddling on the Orara river. Please note that at peak times ie summer holidays there are likely to be other campers sharing the campground. Choose from a campsite or Glamping Bell Tent accomodation.. Sleep peacefully to the sounds of the Orara River and wake to the sounds of the river and country life. There is an amazing outdoor plumbed bathtub that runs on filtered rainwater or river water, so you can relax and gaze at the stars at night! We have also recently installed an outdoor shower. Both of these are plumbed with hot and cold water and are a nice way to warm up after a dip in the refreshing spring fed Orara River. Enjoy the tranquillity of country life only fifteen minutes drive from Coffs Harbour. The sites here provides you with the opportunity to get back to nature, rest and relax away from hustle and bustle. Please note: * That we have outdoor amenities here- camp kitchen, washing up sink, outdoor bath, shower and composting toilets. *That there is a short walk from the designated parking spot to the campsite, it's not far at all. *'Vehicles are not able to be driven up or down the grassy slope to the campground. ‘The Hut’ on the Clarence (4WD)

'The Hut' is fully self-contained, with kitchen, bathroom, TV, ceiling fans. We supply BBQ, Camp oven, Chairs and Tables. It sleeps up to six guests, with 1 Double bed and 2 sets of bunks. All beds have Doonas and Pillows. For groups of more than six, we have the 'Donga' next door, which sleeps up to another four. The Donga has its own bathroom and beds in one large room dormitory style. Doonas and pillows are supplied. 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Tea towels, Bath mats and hand towels supplied. BYO Sheets and Towels. Group bookings of up to 20 are welcome using additional room for tents. We offer capacity for up to 8 people in tents in addition to the 6 guests in the Hut and the 4 guests in the Donga. Access is only possible for 4WD. Our track into Hut is 4WD only. Peak time prices apply. There is no Wifi available however there is very good mobile coverage. Tinny’s or Kayaks can’t be put in directly at hut, however we can show you where you can put them in on our property. We have 2 tandem Kayaks available for your use during your stay - Kid’s must wear life jackets at all times when using the kayaks. Additionally, if you have booked the hut for 6 and under guests, however you would still like some privacy, an option in extras is to book the Donga also for $80 per night. STRA: Exempt

Lay under the awning in the breeze to watch the many little birds flit through the trees morning and night. Fall asleep to the sound of frogs bleating in the dam just beyond the glamping cabin. You have access to limited solar power to charge any personal devices as well as run camping fridge and smaller camping devices. Shower off with in the sandstone and copper outdoor gas hot water shower while staring out into the bushland. Keep quiet at night to experience the wallabies and possums who live on the property and come in to feed. Spend the evenings staring up at the night sky, with no light pollution as a result of being situated in the middle of 100acres of bush, the stars will be a whole new experience! ✨ For those winter evenings, use the fire pit responsibly to toast some marshmallows and share some quality connection with one another sharing stories and making memories. Alternatively cost up to the indoor fireplace. Look no further than the Lawrence tavern, a short 10 minute drive for your lunch and dinners, right on the river with excellent food, be sure to make a booking. Alternatively cook on the fire, use the bbq or your own camp cooking set up. Please ensure to take all rubbish with you, there is no bin collection to the property through council and by not storing and taking your rubbish you put our wildlife at risk. Garbage bags are on site for you to use and take your rubbish with you. There is a bin at the Lawrence park and river. You are situated 1hr inland from Yamba and the beaches, 30mins from Grafton as a local main hub and 35mins from Maclean. While in the area why not do a spot of fishing while the kids play at the Lawrence park which overlooks the Clarence River and jetty. Fuel and an excellent general store is located at Lawrence General store with a coffee cart open most mornings. So say yes to some down time. Explore the region and come back to a beautiful 100acre slice of quiet bush paradise. Camping toilets are available on site or bring your own. Soon to be upgraded to a composting toilet.

Morinokoe - 'Voice of the Forest'

Morinokoe is a 5 acre 'one planet' lifestyle vision, set in the peaceful, secure, rural residential community of Woombah, bordering the Bundjalung National Park and just 5 minutes drive from famous 'Woody Head' camp ground and Iluka's surf beaches. For paddling and fishing, it's a few hundred metres from a public jetty to the Clarence River and just a few minutes drive to the Esk river (a unique waterway that tracks through the national park). The land itself is 2/3 natural forest, with fruit trees and permaculture inspired garden design and cleared areas with space for parking, playing and camping. The property includes two separate bases for holiday stays: 1) Retro Caravan (morinokoe-ko) The (two room) caravan is basic, but newly renovated with a covered roof allowing for a large outdoor patio area, covered back deck, camp toilet. basic kitchen equipment (cooking on your campfire). There is one power outlet supplied to the caravan, but lighting is provided by solar lights around the site. Access to power is provided at the main house. There's access to a toilet, shower (cold water) and drinking water supply. There is a Jamie Oliver grill for cooking at the table, and a fire pit on hand as well. There are basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery as well as a large green water tank for washing and drinking. 2) Modern 'eco' house A large (486 m2) open area with an upstairs, fully fly-screened, mezzanine area (lockable) with 3 bedrooms (queen, king single and single). Downstairs there is a dining table, a kitchenette with kettle, toaster, induction cooker (and cookware), a deep bath tub, outside shower area and composting toilet. Drive in to undercover parking and enjoy the (covered) outdoor lounge area around the fire pit. There's easy access to the large veggie garden to pick fresh herbs and greens for your culinary creations! Morinokoe is a place of peace and privacy that provides a balance between convenience, security (friendly neighbourhood) and accessibility and the peace and quiet of being deep in the forest (where you can walk or ride your bike straight into the national park). We have rubbish and composting facilities. Pets on leashes welcome.

There's lots of great cafes and places to grab a bite to eat too. Our property is abundant with wildlife and has a huge well stocked dam with fish and yabbies. Bring a camera and capture the way the waterlillies dance on the surface of the water. We offer basic camping and an onsite trailer (indoor accommodation). We are off grid and supply our own power for the onsite accommodation. There is mobile phone reception available. Guests are welcome to use our BBQ area. We welcome self-contained campers at our campsites. You must have your own amenities. There is access to drinking water and rubbish facilities. We have a caretaker on site if you need help with anything or have any questions. 4WDs are recommended to access the campsite. No campfires please. Pets are welcome.
