Seedhouse Guard Station

Looking for a cabin in the woods (that’s not out of a horror movie)? Stay at Seedhouse Guard Station, near the Mount Zirkle Wilderness. This cozy cabin is reachable by car—unless there’s lots of snow on the ground, in which case you’ll have to snowmobile your way in! Uh, awesome. It’s a great base camp for winter sports fanatics; although if you’re not big on bundling up in heavy gear to play in the soft white stuff, staying curled up next to the cabin fireplace sounds fun, too.
