Hell Hole Campground
Description
Whatta name—but don’t be scared off, Hell Hole Campground is actually pretty damn gorgeous! Overlooking Hell Hole Reservoir, sites are nestled amongst tall trees and desert shrubs, giving you a picture-perfect slice of the wilderness at Eldorado. Sites are a super short walk-in, and right next to a peaceful pond. Hell Hole awaits!

This campground should be re-named Mosquito Hell Hole! The tiny pond in the campground is full of the vicious bloodsuckers. Why the Forest Service doesn't fill it in or drain it is mind-boggling. Camp there at your own peril - you have been warned!
