Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Sea Rim State Park adventure.
Five miles of beaches, marshlands, and coastal camping along the Texan Gulf Coast.
Let the wild beaches and wildlife-filled wetlands tempt you to Texas’ far southeast corner at Sea Rim State Park. Swim, fish, or camp along the Gulf Coast beaches, saddle up for a horseback ride along the sand, or admire the views from the coastal boardwalks. Inland, enjoy bird-watching and saltwater fishing at the lakes and lagoons, launch your canoe or kayak along the waterways, or follow one of the graded paddling trails around the marshes. RV sites and cabins are available, but if you’re feeling adventurous, why not pitch your tent right on the beach?
Sea Rim State Park is open year-round, but the busiest season is from April through July. Beach conditions vary, but it’s often warm enough to swim from April through October, and beach camping is most pleasant during this period. Bird-watching is popular throughout the year, but sightings are most common during the spring migration.
