We're happy that we can open up our land for campers. Before booking please read the following information and site descriptions. We operate a pecan tree nursery and Pecan Orchard. On the south side of the farmhouse is a 80-year-old huge pecan tree. You can enjoy wooded walking paths in the 90-acre forest and pastures, ponds and wildlife, including deer, wild hogs, hawks, owls, roadrunners, doves, cardinals, jays, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and many other species of birds. Small mammals such as armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels are often seen, and the property is also awesome for stargazing. Please watch out for snakes, scorpions, pesky mosquitoes, chiggers and ticks. This land has been a huge blessing to us and we hope you will enjoy your stay here. Arrival time should be no later than 9pm. Please inquire before booking if your arrival time might be later. Site 6 - Sandy Ridge Camping

I loved tent camping on Cody & Ingrid’s land! Ingrid was kind enough to take me right to my site upon arrival. It was a lovely area with a picnic table, fire pit, and trees on one side. Tall grass in the meadow on the other side provided lots of privacy. Trails through the property were fun to explore. The hot shower and restroom were clean and a nice touch. Ingrid was nice to visit with, and their pecans are delicious! I can’t wait to return.

Site 1 - Sandy Ridge Camping

Lovely large space to explore and relax. We had a wonderful time at Site 1. The bathroom is about a five minute walk from there, which isn’t too bad, and it was really clean! We would stay again and stay longer if we could.

Site 2 - Sandy Ridge Camping

Cody and Ingrid‘s property was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, my stay got rained out on the first day and I wasn’t able to keep my booking. BUT!… Ingrid was extremely helpful and hospitable. My phone got drenched in the downpour and stopped working. They made me feel very welcome in their home while I borrowed their phone to call family and make other arrangements. I could really feel that they wanted to make sure I was OK. Absolutely wonderful family. I will definitely be booking them again in the future (fingers crossed the weather is more in my favor next time!)
