Best in Texas: Finalist
Named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2024.
Property has been in family since 1987. The land has a rich history of wild boars and other wildlife. There is a live creek that runs along one of the property lines and is 50 ft deep. Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). The land is ready to be loved by our visitors. The llamas will come to greet you and so will many more things in this wonderful place. We are conveniently located in a secluded area, but just a short drive from many local conveniences. Come enjoy the beautiful landscape and make memories you can treasure forever. We loved camping at Llama Land! Judy was so sweet and so accommodating. You can see the passion she has for the llamas. There also were two cats there that were just the sweetest and kept us company during our stay. We will definitely be back with our nieces and nephews.

Camping Experience Like No Other!!
Our experience camping on Judy’s land was absolutely amazing! Not only was the land beautiful and well cared for - the sunsets were outstanding. Judy was also an incredible host - wanting to make sure everything is going well and you do not need anything! The llamas and farm animals (Sonny, Pumpkin, and Puff) were so much fun! The llamas absolutely greet you and know who has food for them! They get up right close and personal. It is an amazing experience for adults and children alike! Would highly recommend!

Had an AMAZING experience at Llama Land! Brought kids ages 2-6 and they all enjoyed tent camping here. Judy was very kind and made us feel very welcomed. We originally booked a site fenced off from the llamas as we were worried about kids staying in the fields, but once we were there Judy allowed us to relocate to a different site on the fields and it was the best decision we could make. The llamas were friendly and even the youngest ones enjoyed feeding them. Highly recommend this campground and would definitely come back here.

Car camping at llama ranch.
We loved the Lammas and I got to take my outback across the field which was kind of fun. It was a little hilly. The Lammas were cool and Judy brought us feed and wood. There are fire pits we were the only ones on Sunday night so we switched to site 6 by toilet and big tree table bbq pit and chair and bench. The pavilion is really cool if you have a group. Highly recommend. Bbq pit w gas fire pit w lava stones and blue glass. It seats probably 20 w picnic table and has toilet close too. It has lights for at night and ceiling fans. W partial roof. Fleas markets in town are weekend only and the brewery in town was good food but a little pricey. Happy hour 4-6 week days only if you like beer would be good deal. Thanks Judy we will definitely plan another visit. Bring heavy duty trash bags to carry trash out so they don’t leak in your car.

Pond in the Pasture 1
Unique Experience
My boys and I had nothing short of a magical time. Caught so many fish on the pond. Felt like we were out there by ourselves. Llamas were so fun but not invasive and never too much. Must experience this if you have young kids. They will love it….so will you. Also wondered if there was any smell out there… zero smell. One of a kind forever memory for me and my boys. Hosts are incredible as well. We will be back.
