Lakeview is situated near the seaside village of Beachmere on just under 50 picturesque acres of Australian bushland, 45 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway. Experience the stunning vistas by the three billabongs while nestled in nature. Take nature walks, canoe and swim. Enjoy the flora, native animals and abundant birdlife or just relax by the campfire with the cooling sea breezes to add to the comfort and laid back lifestyle beside your own private open fire. You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture River boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life. Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family. Dogs permitted, see our FAQs in Property Rules. Campfires permitted, see our FAQs in Property Rules. Firewood is available to purchase, Honesty box on site. Please read the cancelation/credit policy as set and prescribed through the hipcamp platform. Unfortunately to keep our bookings viable and our gates open, no special allowance is made for illness, weather, mechanical breakdowns ect. If you have concerns please book last minute

Great rural location with a lovely lake backdrop that our dog loved for a swim and cooldown. We have planned a return to the same site in the early new year 2025.

Dog friendly and activities abound

Such a beautiful property; extremely well maintained and alot of thought and care has gone into this little paradise. Lots of space for campers, there were a few other vans camped but we never crossed paths. The kayaks on the lakes edge were extremely appreciated! My dog and I had a great time paddling the lake and exploring the banks. Peaceful, serene and an excellent way to cool off away from high volume tourist parks. I opted for the $11 site and it was an easy 1 minute stroll to the waters edge. I live permantly in my van and finding a gem like this is AMAZING; able to stay a few nights and appreciate the quiet life without breaking the budget. The event area with pool table and hot tub over the lake looks like such a great little entertainment area.. truly alot of thought and love has gone into this property and the dog and I will definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

Was quiet at the camp which was what I was looking for. The outlook was great but think I would like to me a lake sudecamp next time. Was great to see all the birds around the lake. Close to all town offering all supplies you might need.

Lovely campground

We really enjoyed our short stay in this beautiful peaceful spot. Host was friendly and helpful. Very easy to find and check in. Nice level site well spaced out.

Perfect

Perfect spot, our 2nd time visiting. Just love the space and serenity, no close neighbours spots well spaced out, can’t wait to bring our grandchildren back to stay. No visitors allowed.

Too popular….

Rating does not reflect how great this location is, it’s a credit to Shane and his family. The location is improving each time we go out. The low rating is to reduce the people who know about this great location, it is getting harder to book a site out there now. This is good for Shane, but not for us locals who love the place.
