Campers have praised the clean facilities, including bathrooms and showers, as well as the lovely surroundings that provide a serene escape. While some guests faced issues like steep access roads and broken tent zippers, the overall sentiment is positive, highlighting the park's convenience and relaxing environment. With easy access to nearby attractions and a range of activities available on-site, Saddle Mountain comes highly recommended for a comfortable stay.
Tent setup and amenities were everything we needed them to be! Staff was super friendly when we got in. Didn’t have any issues with noise (we were in the last tent down the road) and didn’t mind the short walk to the bathroom. Enjoyed using the sauna in the morning - it didn’t get too hot but we still got a decent sweat in! The zippers on the tent were a little beaten up but otherwise everything was great.
The staff were friendly, facilities were nice, and good location, central to the Carmel Valley and Carmel by the Sea areas. It was easy to camp there with our small dog too.
The receptionist told us that the zipper of the luxury tent was broken, but we didn’t expect to sleep with our tent open. It was windy, and cold air came in, so we didn’t feel completely safe.
