Located east of Fayetteville near exit 49 of I-95, is our lovely, quiet, and secluded 30 acre tract of Southern Yellow pines that we purchased 11 years ago. Since we love camping so much we decided to pay it forward and carve out 15 campsites for other campers to enjoy. Most of our campsites are gravel and level. We have a couple of sites that are grass for tenters. We have only site 1 that has full hookups. All the other sites are boondocking.

Cedar Creek Campsites: Site 01
Rest in Serenity
This HipCamp site receives high marks and praise from us. First, the landscaping is amazing. The atmosphere is quiet with sounds of nature all around. We had a butterfly bush that attracted both butterflies and hummingbirds. Site 1 was pristine, concrete pad with FHU. Picnic tables, cooking chimney and fire pit were at the site as well. If you need to take it down a notch this is the place for you. Cell reception is low but doable because we put our phones away mostly anyway. There is a housed toilet with a sink on premises. There are about 9 sites available for boondocking and one coveted site with FHU. All of the site are clear and clean and landscaped. There are also a few walk-in sites and a trail leading from the campground. We also found hiking nearby. Dollar General is about 7 miles away and Raleigh is about an hour away. Fayetteville is closer. Grocery stores and restaurants are less than 20 miles away near I-95 The hosts are very welcoming and nice. They will also respond in a timely manner if needed. We are hoping to return this Fall.

Spacious sites
There were several other campers here this visit but with the large sites with buffer zones between them, it still felt very private. Mosquitos were plentiful, a present left by Hurricane Debbie but a good repellent and out door fogger kept them in check.

Peaceful splendor
Where to start… Upon entering the property, you’re welcomed by a broad stretch of clean, level stone paths surrounded by tall pines. The driveway winds around with clearly marked sites and comfort areas. Site 1, located near the main house, offers a level concrete pad with easy access to hook-ups. The picnic tables are new and in excellent condition, accompanied by a nearby fire pit. There’s plenty of space to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The facilities are spotless and well-stocked. Although you’re only about 20 minutes from Fayetteville, the location feels peaceful and secluded. The gardens are absolutely stunning, filled with hummingbirds and butterflies. Thank you for your hospitality; we can’t wait to return!
