Valley Views
Absolutely incredible views from the top camp spot at the top of the hill! Need a 4WD. Brett was super friendly and guided us up there. Fire pit available and we bought firewood there.
Will definitely be going back - panoramic view of the mountain range & mt warning. Loved it

Weekend getaway
Brett was awesome from the get go. He and his wife met me and my partner as we were coming down their driveway, then guided us to where we were staying, with a brief chat and little tour/insight of the land.
The property is stunning and very well kept, with amazing scenery, the odd cow here and there, fresh creek to top up the water or cool down, maybe find some crystals, plenty of rocks around to build a little camp-fire, abundance of land to walk around and see, very cool.
Best of all, you get privacy, which is always a nice surprise, where we stayed it was very isolated and quiet.
In the morning, Brett surprised us with a visit, offering to give us a tour around his property and the other sites that are available, which are all also very well kept and have their own uniqueness and stunning views. He even went out of his way to help with offering his air-compressor just to make sure we were good to go before we departed.
Highly recommend, Brett is an awesome guy, thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful land for the night! 🤙🏾👍🏽

It doesn’t get much better than the backdrop at Brett and Kaths. Beautiful views, private, spacious, gorgeous creek! Brett and Kath were wonderful, the camp spot had the most amazing views and right on the creek front. We look forward to returning to this beautiful spot.

Platypus Place
Camping by the creek
We decided to go away for the long weekend and spent from Fri-Monday at Brett’s farm. I couldn’t fault anything about this place, it’s so beautiful. The kids played in the creek all day long and you can walk just up the hill and get amazing views of the camp and sunrise/sunset. The stars in the sky at night are also so clear. Brett is very accomodating making sure you’re all good and supply’s his own firewood. The campsites are well spread out and it feels like you’re the only ones there. We can’t wait to come back here next time.

Beautiful scenery driving in. Directions were spot on and easy to follow. The property was AMAZING! So picturesque everywhere we looked. Running creek was great for swimming and sitting in to cool off. The owner Brett showed us another site (4wd needed) which was private and secluded and it took our breathe away. Just gorgeous in every way. Will definitely be back to see you guys. Thankyou for sharing your amazing property.

Platypus Place
Perfect Getaway
We feel lucky to have found Brett's place, which is only an hour and a bit from the Gold Coast.
The platypus place was lovely, and we enjoyed staying for 2 nights. There was plenty of firewood, the friendly cows and the beautiful fig trees beside us providing perfect shade for reading and we even took a dip into the creek. The clear night sky allowed us to see so many stars, we enjoyed the beautiful sounds of the crickets and the creek. It was so peaceful, we will definitely be coming back! Thanks Brett for welcoming us at the gate, checking up on us the next day, and giving us directions to the perfect spot for photos! See you soon :) Scott and Mika
