At the foot of the Watagan mountains, close to the Watagan 4WD tracks, picnic areas, and bike tracks. Also close to Lake Macquarie where you will find fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing etc. About a 20 - 40 min drive to beautiful beaches. Ideal for those wanting to be surrounded by birds, nature and a couple of friendly doggos. Also great for people wanting to try out their new camper, van or tent for the 1st time as we are an easy 1 hour drive north of Sydney on the M1 and close enough to shops for those forgotten items. Also we have unfenced dams, if you are camping with young children please consider carefully and let me know before booking. We have very basic bathroom facilities of 1 flushing toilet in the shed and an outdoor warm shower.

Bunyip's Top Paddock.

A pleasant campsite

Bunyip’s camp was a lovely place to stay. Lisa was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room and shade. There’s an outdoor shower to wash the road off. Lisa’s dogs are the most relaxed dogs I have encountered. There’s some chickens clucking around the place to add to the atmosphere. The soundscape was marvellous with kookaburras and cicadas and lots of other birds.

Bunyip's Brooke's Nook -Primitive

Beautiful grass camp site with heaps of shade. The sites are large with lots of space between camp sites. There is a flushing toilet on site, shower as well but didn't use that. Lisa is very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Friendly doggo's visits were nice.

Bunyip's Brooke's Nook -Primitive

Serene meadow by a pretty dam

We loved our stay at this serene spot by a pretty dam, surrounded by beautiful trees. It's quiet and private. Lisa is a welcoming host and her lovely dogs came out to greet us and say hello to our Whippet too.

Peaceful spot

Great spot with heaps of space! Friendly pups on arrival and easy to find our spot with the help of the lovely Host. Would definitely stay again!

Bunyip's Brooke's Nook -Primitive

Campsite was awesome, very spacious with a good amount of privacy. Lisa was an amazing host and was kind enough to move us to an alternative camp site due to an active wasp nest. Campsite also came with 2 super friendly dogs that kept us company. Will 100% book again.
