Snuggle down amid the cool, peaceful Florida canopy of old oaks. You're 1 mile from Green Swamp West, Withalacoochee River and State Park, The Rennaissance Festival (seasonal for 10wks), And a winding country drive to shops and dining that make our town special! There is horseback riding nearby at PondaRocha offering lessons and trail rides. TreeHoppers and The Pioneer Museum are just a few miles further. Come on out and sit a spell.Rest easy under the breezy shade of sprawling oaks. 1 mile from Withalacoochee River and River State Park and Green Swamp West. You can fish, hike, swim, go horseback riding at the neighboring Ponda Rocha horse farm. The site is semi-private and features a clean port a potty. There is a water hose available from the onsite well. No hookups, so it's best if you're a boon docker type or enjoy primitive self-contained camping. You will be the only guest on site with the hosts living nearby in view. Your nearest neighbor is Alexander, a Yorkshire pig (Keep your hands out of his pen, ask us if you'd like to pet him) and you will awake to the sounds of nature and Scooter the Rooster. There is a variety of shops and dining in town. We are only a few miles from Treehoppers, The Pioneer Museum, and much more.

First stay here!
It’s two acres but plenty of room for at least a few tents. Not sure about RVs though. They are working on better toilet and shower options, but I’m pretty independent so I didn’t need those. It’s also a quiet area, with only the sounds of various animals. Withlacoochee park is close and this is a good place to overnight if you’re going to the park. They have pigs and chickens, but they are not to play with. You can ask for fresh eggs if you wish. There are stands of big trees around, so be aware of widow-makers when you pitch your tent. It’s a basic space in a quiet area and I felt quite safe. Two thumbs up!
