We had an incredible stay at this campsite and couldn’t have asked for a better way to welcome the New Year. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, greeting us upon arrival and making sure we had everything we needed. We were able to purchase firewood directly from him, which made settling in easy and seamless.
The site itself was the best primitive setup we could have dreamed of — thoughtfully arranged with a fire ring, and we were provided with a trash can, and a honey bucket. Everything was clean, well-organized, and clearly cared for, which made the experience feel both rustic and comfortable.
Spending New Year’s here with my partner was truly special. The site was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by quiet beauty, and the nearly full moon and stars made the night feel almost magical. It was the perfect place to unplug, reflect, and simply be present. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene, well-hosted primitive camping experience.

Sacred Dog Ranch was great to stay! Lisa was very friendly & welcoming! Just be careful if you have a taller rig, as you need to watch the trees above as you are coming in on the driveway. Lots of fun animals on the property & her house is like a museum. I recommend Lisa’s land & would stay here again! Love the vibes!

Perfect place for a getaway! Super nice host, could not ask for better! Everything is set up perfectly! Nice creek to explore quiet woods to check out, meandering trails for nice walks! Highly recommend them! Will be back soon for more adventures with them!

Had a great time tent camping at the ranch :-) The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we loved meeting all the animals. Two of the dogs decided to be our sidekicks as we took a scenic path to the creek and packed down our camp. Very special weekend!

Loved Lost Acres so much! Vinnie gave us a great tour of his favorite places on the property, and he was so, so accommodating and helpful. The property is super nice and private, but it's also very close to a Dollar General in case you forget something. Will definitely be keeping this site on our camping rotation!

Highly recommend! The property is very beautiful, and animals are so sweet and the family is friendly and are wonderful hosts! We look forward to visiting more often. We rode horses down through the creek and had a huge bonfire all night. We stayed in one of their other cabins they offered us onsite, it was very comfortable. There happen to be 5 kittens on property when we were there and they were so small and playful. This place is so close to the city, easy for a 1-3 night stay. Thank you Lisa and Gary! Sacred Dog Ranch!!! Lisa and her family have a lovely piece of land with many stunning Buddha statues that welcome you as you drive in the tree lined driveway. The serenity continues onto their gardens and hip camp sites. We were welcomed by a gaggle of fun dogs! The artistic grounds and murals were a delight! How lucky we were to stay a night with them!
We recommend this spot and will certainly be back!

We loved Sacred Dog Ranch. My kids enjoyed all the animals and the ability to walk through the trails. We also fit in a horse ride. I enjoyed the calm, and the beautiful sunset.

We stayed at the ranch two nights while visiting family in Fairview. The property is not far from Hwy 40. You enter on a tree-lined driveway and our 20 foot travel trailer was fine. Easy hook up to 30amp, water may need additional hose. The owners are very welcoming and loved letting us see their unique property. There are dogs (who stay near Lisa and the residence) and horses (in their paddock). We had two relaxing, starry nights with no AC needed - in June! It's a great place to stop over when traveling on Hwy 40 or to stay a while and see the area.

Lisa & Gary welcome you to their land with open arms! Greeted by a bunch of lovely wonderful dogs. One dog will deff stick out more to you with love (Payaso) they are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make sure your stay is comforting. Will deff be coming back out here for the horse back riding!
