Campers can enjoy world heritage rainforests or fish, swim, kayak, SUP, jet ski, all at the front door. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Sites 1 and 2 are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Sites 3 and 4 are only open for for booking up to 1 week in advance as long as the ground isn't too wet. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Eltham Station Campground is a quiet campground on the Wilson River near the hip village of Eltham, just down the road from Bangalow, a few k's from Clunes and 35kms from Byron Bay. The camp sites are private and have easy access for 2WD vehicles or 4WD. Eltham Station has 7 all weather campsites along a private lagoon. The sites have gravel pads and grass to set up on, plus campfire spots laid out (firewood available) a clearly marked road in and are also surrounded by large trees to provide plenty of shade. There are plenty of birds, frogs, water dragons, platypus (if you are quiet), wallabies and other wildlife around the property and it is a beautiful and peaceful location to set up camp for caravans, motorhomes, swags, tents or vans. Exclusive use of the whole campground for a large group is available on request. We are only 2kms from the village of Eltham and the famous Eltham Pub which is a historic building that often has live music and is a great spot for a meal. It often books out so during busy periods we recommend you book ahead on www.elthampub.com.au Also we are only a 20 minute drive to the beach (recommend Shelly Beach at Ballina with a great cafe called Shelly Beach cafe for breaky or lunch) and are close to the many other beautiful attractions that this area is known for. Children under 6 stay free but hosts must be notified of the total number of people in your group. Each site holds a maximum of 6 guests in total. Campfires are permitted in the rings provided and please ensure you set up in the spot allocated to you especially in busy times. All campers must abide by any fire or other government restrictions. Well behaved pets are welcome but please be aware this campsite is on a working farm with cattle, potty calves, horses, a few of our own dogs. The Beach Arrawarra is nestled on a wide golden beach off the Solitary Islands Marine Park with fabulous fishing, great surfing, prolific wildlife. Peace and tranquility. Even if you are the slowest walker it will take 1 minute to be on the sand. There is a wide range of local activities to choose from including kayaking, surfing, ocean rafting, sky diving or many other local attractions within a short walk or drive from camp. The Beach Arrawarra is pet friendly so you don’t have to leave your best friend at home while you are on holidays.

This is a caravan park with a large grassy camping area. Close to highway (M1) and beach. It is an ideal place for families to stay for a few days to explore the beach, national park and a lot more. For travelers who want to stop overnight, this park is conveniently located to get on & off the highway with ease. We are dog-friendly for friendly dogs. We are upgrading the infrastructure (water, sewer, stormwater and electricity) of the park. Due to capital requirement and for the convenience of existing residents, the upgrade will be undertaken in multiple stages. The road will be concreted after all infrastructure are installed. During the process of upgrading, there will be some trenching and digging. The trench may be not filled property. The swimming pool is not available for maintenance until further notice.

The onsite managers are Guy and Helen Dickinson. The property was purchased in 1987 by my father Reg Dickinson. He wanted to set up a fish farm and alternative holiday destination so people could be close to the ocean. The property is across the road from the national park and 150m from the beach and 300m from the coastal village of Red Rock and the Corindi river where swimming and water activities can be undertaken.

Our outdoor bath is a peachy favourite and just so beautiful at night or on dawn/dusk. Message us for availability or book it as a camp site. Site name - NOT a campsite! Outdoor Heated Bath. There is a lovely nature playground for the kids and a well equiped community kitchen for all. All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them. The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean. Each site has a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package in extras. It's fun and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps. We have an amazing composting loo but NO SHOWERS yet. We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'.

Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Sites 1 and 2 are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Sites 3 and 4 are only open for for booking up to 1 week in advance as long as the ground isn't too wet. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Camping near Yamba guide

Overview

On the New South Wales north coast, Yamba has always been at the top of the hit list for surfers and beach-goers. Nearby Angourie Point is famous for its much-revered right-hand break, and with six beaches within walking distance of the Yamba town centre (and many more a short drive away), there’s no shortage of places to hit the water. Other highlights include the plunge-worthy Blue Pool—a huge rock quarry that filled with freshwater when an underground spring was disturbed sometime last century—and an enticing saltwater rock pool on Main Beach. And did we mention the prawns? They’re famous, too.

When to go

The water is warm enough for swimming from September through April. Jacaranda season is late spring, with a jacaranda festival in early November. The Maclean Highland Gathering takes places in April, featuring Scottish games, music, and dancing. Yamba’s prawns are perfect year-round, and with so many beaches to choose from, there’s always good surf nearby.

Know before you go

Yamba is a 7-hour drive north on the Pacific Highway from Sydney, or about a 3-hour drive south of Brisbane along the same coastal route.
Several local surfing schools offer kayak hires and surf lessons, including the Yamba-Angourie Surf School, where three-time Australian surfing champion Jeremy Walters shows newbies the ropes.
The cliff-top Pacific Hotel is a fantastic spot for a sundown drink with a phenomenal view. This spot also does good pub bistro classics and usually has live music on summer weekends.
Among the best places in Yamba to buy prawns is the Prawn Shack, run by the Clarence River Fishermens' Co-op at the Yamba Marina. The seafood comes straight from the fishing trawlers, and you can’t get much fresher than that.
