Ward Lake Campground - Grand Valley
Description
You’ll have it made in the shade at Ward Lake Campground. Sitting pretty at 10,200 feet, the campground itself intermingles with the shores of tranquil, Lake Ward. While some campsites have you up close and personal with the fishies, others are high above providing spectacular views, or pushed back inland amidst mighty spruce trees. “Oh man, that itches!” Yes, you are in mosquito country, friend. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve gone sans shower, they’ll still find you attractive. Bring plenty of repellent (did you know catnip is a great repellant?) and you’ll be good.
