Thistledown Campground - Ouray
Description
Popular with hikers, nature-viewers and all-around explorer-types, Thistledown Campground is a convenient base of operations for connecting with nearby trails, some of which are Jeep-accessible. You’ll be eager to jump right on the Weehawken Trail, or get to sniffing the wildflowers in Yankee Boy Basin, but you’ll want to claim a site first. There’s limited space, and word travels fast!
