Lime Creek Yurt
Great Yurt 10/10
This was an extremely fun stay. The yurt was in a beautiful location and was clean on arrival. The host was a great help and responded to all of our questions very quickly. Lots of wild life around!

Lime Creek Yurt
Great yurt, not the best ski tour
Overall, the experience was good, particularly once we arrived at the Yurt. Extremely well-stocked and well-equipped, functional, cozy and fun. As far as a winter trek, it works well for snowshoers IF they don't have to break trail--all along snowmobile paths are fine, but you aren't guaranteed that luxury, particularly towards the top. For ski touring, it's much more of a skin than a ski both ways. There's not enough consistent downhill on the way out to make for much skiing at all. And a long, slow skin along a snowmobile path makes for a rough experience. It's a lot of work for little reward. At the time of this review (Feb 2022), as you move closer to the yurt, the trail markings are very unclear and confusing. Make sure you have topo maps. Seems like it would be a fun summer/fall adventure, especially if you could connect with Fisher Mountain Hut.

Lime Creek Yurt
Lime Creek Yurt is a great place to kick back in peace. Beautiful forest setting. Short walk to trailheads. I would definitely like to return for another stay.

Lime Creek Yurt
The lime creek yurt was beyond our expectations! We have found that many times when things are listed as “secluded” they don’t deliver to our expectations. Well this did!!! We roamed without seeing a soul and no sounds of loud ATVs or cars. I am now totally spoiled and may never tent camp again after this fantastic glamping experience. We enjoyed the silence and the escape from everyday busy life. Charley was an excellent and responsive host. We can’t wait to check out his property again for some winter backcountry skiing.

Fisher Mountain Hut
Remote Comfortable Scenic
Hut was wonderful and comfortable for our family of four. Drive was easily done in our older Outback. Cots were comfortable and solar lights were very nice and appreciated. Everything worked though we chose to bring in our own water and didn't pump from the small stream so I can't comment on the ease of the system at the hut. We explored the small trail that started near the hut and the road that continues beyond the forest service gate.
