Eshom Campground
Description
Tucked in a heavily forested area, among giant sequoia and ponderosa pines lies the gorgeous Eshom Campground. This site is sky-high at 4,800 feet in elevation, making it an excellent opportunity to pump those lungs on a hiking excursion. As you explore the land, you may come across juicy blackberries and gooseberries growing around your campsite. The ecosystem here supports mule deer, squirrels, birds and black bears. Choose from the east side—a simpler experience with no potable water with stone fire rings. Or, west side represent!—potable water and spigots on deck as well as access to the Eshom Creek. Either side is the light side, the green side, the beautiful side.
