Just south and east of the beautiful town of Prescott, Arizona is the Prescott Basin with more than 59,000 acres of developed and undeveloped land. Primitive dispersed camping is allowed throughout the area. You won’t find any amenities, but you will find a rugged and wild land that is perfect for getting out of town and exploring at a moment’s notice. This is free camping at it’s very best close to town, in the heart of the mountains, and surrounded by beauty no matter where you wander.
